I was there in Autumn -- far too cold to go into the water. Perhaps I can get back there some summer.

Water was certainly cold in late October -- I got splashed some walking along the promenade -- but there were lunatics out there in wetsuits on surf boards. (Hope Celtmelt wasn't one of them, unless he's part Penuin.)

last time I ventured into the sea when in wales I nearly turned the colour of my name!!!! Sure was beautiful apart from the buses - we stayed in a remote farmhouse B&B and kept getting stuck behind buses in narrow lanes. We had a little un with us so instead of saying bollocks we used BUS and still do 5 or 6 years later.
