Although last night on my way home I did pass a house that still had the full works - flashing lights in windows upstairs and down and a christmas tree in the living room window!

All I seem to do is say "good morning" or "good afternoon".... the odd "Good evening".... is anyone out there?

Well you know I wouldn't disagree with that! At the time I did think "Oh you sad people"... or maybe it wasn't quite so polite!!!

But in the meantime, that's it for another year, and I'm glad to return to routine! Christmas, New Year, birthday - all done and dusted. Woo hoo!!!!

After hearing the reports of what's been happening up north I'm glad to hear you're intact-ish!

I have a rickety garden fence that looks like a mouse could knock it over - but it somehow survives the winder winds - just as well as I can't afford a new one.

This morning it is in no danger at all, clam air, blue sky, some warmth in the sun. Funny old thing the weather, eh!
