I think you mis-understood me, i meant that men show more overtly that they are looking at a woman, usually by saying in a unquiet voice to their mates " cor, look at the legs/ tits/ ass on her!!", whereas women tend to nudge their mates and giggle conspiratorially so if there is several men around they all think the women mean them.

I'm pretty obvious. I'm a bit of a starer, actually. In the presence of male beauty, one must be appreciative. That includes staring, and pointing. Of course, the guy might think 'oh dear, I must have done something embarrassing' but I'm generally quite forthright. I'll just walk to up to them and tell them I think they're really good-looking (notice that's all I say--because good looks are seriously not enough) or go and talk to them and see if they're just brainless beauties or something.

Unfortunately, the last one I had of this type was fifteen (!!!!!!!!) and had a girlfriend. That's quite funny. I saw him once, and then the next time I saw him I was with a bunch of friends (and just telling them about him) and he cycled past on the street. I jumped up and pointed and said 'that's him! that's him!!'. Was quite embarrassing. But that's what I'm like--I'm not good at keeping to myself.

Investing in sunglasses seems like a good idea.. hm. I've never worn sunglasses regularly before, because I can't stand not seeing in bright light--when people have dim lighting, I switch on as many lamps as I can in the rooms. It's just a little thing I have.

Might invest in Zai-esque ones. Big with thick white rims. Kinda 60s.

I suppose it's kind of bad, but I think I have a double-standard. I like staring at guys, and to an extent I like guys looking at me. But then.. at the same time, I don't like it. It's an odd thing. I think it depends on my mood. Or who's doing the staring. When people start clinging, it gets annoying I suppose.

Beh, I've developed a highly effective method of discouraging men--either do the whole sisterly platonic thing, where you're too sibling-like. Or, I do the ice queen thing (I have a rather forbidding frown). Ice queen works better, but I'm not very icy as a person, so it doesn't feel right doing it!
