I'm glad this thread is livening up again! I hope it won't disappear whilst I go to Italy (next Saturday, I leave for Venice!!).

And the pic link didn't go anywhere, sadly.

Does Cambridge count as Southern?? I think of it as East Anglia but guh, UK is so tiny the distance counts for nothing.

Not from where I am love but all things are relative as they say.

I posted as a relative newcomer to the thread six hours ago, thinking I should contribute to the UK thread but, despite the posts since, no one has acknowledged me. Yet I've found a few threads on LIT where I've been warmly welcomed in the same situation.

Evening yourcharms. I'll gladly welcome you on behalf of everyone else. You'll notice I don't visit much either though for the same reason. There's a lot to look at on Lit so I hope you'll enjoy the experience even without the U.K contingent.

Please don't take it personally...it's more difficult sometimes to see everyone who's posted on these threads, as no one really 'owns' them (the thread I mean....can't say about the posters!)

Hope you come back and give us another chance!

No, I'm not going to be precious about it. I'd like to get to know UK LITters. It was the juxtaposition of a post from someone saying he was being ignored, me posting saying hello, and no one acknowledging me.
