uk roll call

Hey i'm new to these forums so just saying hello, thought i would start off in the UK thread as i am from Leicestershire :) not nice weather today but would be nice to talk to some new people :)

Welcome to another Leicester person, are you here by birth or just for studies?

The midpoint of the UK, north-south, is Hexham. Use a ruler on your atlas. And remember the the Shetlands are part of the UK.

So Leeds is in the deep south.

OK, the important part of the UK is the south ... :p

otherwise, culra bothy would be inundated with fuckwits. ;)

By your reasoning, Scotsman69, Scotland, Leeds, even Eastbourne, dammit, would be in the extreme North of the country, because by the same token as the Shetlands are part of the UK, so is a small group of Islands that the Argentinian's like to refer to as Las Malvinas, and we call the Falkland Isles....

ooh, the globe pub in port stanley ... i wonder if the 'lectric is back on yet.

Hi there. London/Surrey guy here. Love to chat to couples or any women about anything really.

I can be playful, articulate with a kinky edge. Greetings fellow litters (is that the term?).

PM me.

Stuff. Would like to make a few connections on here. Maybe some IM (Yahoo) chat. Or just a general hi.

Thanks for the tip.

Mostly seeking some IM with couples/women. Something playful. I have a wide range of interestes and experiences.

It may work out for us, it may not. Tres casual. Tres playful. I hope this isn't too obtuse. Hope to hear from you.

The Falklands are a colony. No votes in Westminster. They shouldn't be a colony but they are.

Dispute the fact that the mid-point of the UK is Hexham. Look at your atlas. If you have one.

Both my geography

and my knowledge of culture are fine, forsooth. I larned em at the fourth oldest university in the UK.

Get thee to the Malvinas, sire. Or better still, write some more stories. You're much better at that than at geography. Hexham is still the north-south midpoint of the UK. And the best of it (for as long as it exists) lies to the north. (We'll allow Northumberland, and the beautiful city of Newcastle, into Scotland any time.)

my geography is excellent; you're just pointing out a cultural misalignment. :p

:D

I was born in Leicester, will be moving away to study next year though even though i am quite fond of Leicester think it's time for me to go experience another city/town for a few years :D
