"I havn't really done much, but thanks none the less Jahnyra, you're really not at all what I was expecting in a drow... Friends... Yeah, I guess we are but I seriously doubt my 'deeds' are anything to be remembered. Okay, I'll be back as soon as I can, and I'll bring us some food."
He was gone for just a little under an hour having sold most of the stuff he'd taken from his friends and buying a small collection of things that he thought would be of the greatest use to them if they actually set out together. Some magically embued weapons, some illegal poisons and various other nasty little tricks they could throw if need be. A few extra healing potions for each of them and a couple of wands he mannaged to shake a shady black market vendor down for after finding out the man didn't even know what they did, or if they even had power left in them. But what they hey, they were the right price, free, so he took them.
Of his friends things he only kept Erhaimore's symbol of Sarenrae, Drogan's family sword and Gardenia's prized ruby broach. He was intent on seeing those particular items back to Erh's church, the swords back to Drogan's family and Gardenia's broach safely back in the hands of her mentor. The only problem was that they all came from vastly different places and it would take years and perhaps no shortage of fate on his side to see them back to the places they belonged.
He came back to the room where he'd left Jahnyra with all the things he'd bought, setting the laden packs upon the foot of the bed. He'd brought them a roasted chicken to share and on the spur of the moment a bottle of foriegn wine from some place far across the ocean.
"Okay..." He said, setting the food down. "I bought us a bunch of equipment and goods for when we set off together... I hope I picked some stuff you can use. If not, I can sell whatever we can't use back and try to find something better, probably not in this town though. I looked, this is the best they have to offer round here."
"Anyway, I hope you like chicken..." He cut off a generous peice for Jahnyra and served it to her. "I've got wine as well." He added, drawing the bottle from his pack to show her. "I'm no conosuer, but the merchant said this was the best."
