ladies, what did you wear under your wedding dress?? my wife wore a sheer silk white bra,sheer white silk french cut panties that were really tight, white fishnet stockings and a baby blue garter belt.

when did you show it to your groom???

Blue corset with attatched garters and stockings. White thong with rhinestones spelling out "I do" and a matching garter for throwing.
And white tennis shoes, couldn't see them for the dress anyway, and I was comfy... till after the ceremony then I ran around barefoot. More comfy that way.
Hubby got to see it after everything was said and done and we went back to his parents house to change before heading to San Diego.

well I wore this miserably uncomfortable cream satin corset with enough boning in it to make my then 36 B boobs look quite voluptous. I had matching cream colored satin panties with little pearls to match the pearls in my dress and I splurged and bought real silk stockings for my garters. Hubby got to see it at the hotel that night before we hit the road on our honeymoon. He saw it for all of about 2 minutes as I quickly changed into the silk nightgown I had bought for the "wedding night"

Wow - I was just thinking about that the other day, and to tell the truth, I can't remember! That will make more sense to you young people when you have been married 32 years and are over 50! I do know that Victoria Secret wasn't around then, so it must have been boring. Because of the style of my dress, it must have been a strapless bra though do not ever remember having one. (Also was SOO flat chested then don't know how a strapless would have stayed up.) I went braless most of the time then, so maybe for wedding too. I do know I wore a hoop skirt - again the style of dress warranted it. I had a blue satin & lace garter, which he removed to toss, and flat ballet slipper like shoes for comfort. He didn't see any of this. I changed at the church into a dress & jacket, then changed again the the bathroom of our hotel room - virgin that I was, I wanted to wow him in my white long nighty & robe. It was beautiful, and I still have it in my hope chest. Wish it fit - I'd still wear it occassionally.

I feel gyped.....I eloped......no wedding dress.....so I didn't get the pleasure of being creative .... But I don't think I'll look at brides the same in the future....I'll be too busy wondering whats going on under the dress (or what's not going on).
