Union for peace (ONLY Kililia & Susurrus)

This time, Axel didn't try to stop Lenore from leaving.

The two armed guards outside however...

Even though he hadn't given the order, he had no trouble imagining their orders were to let no one in or out of the room until he, himself emerged.

When she turned back to him, he shrugged.

"As I said: it's out of my hands. You may as well resign yourself and enjoy as best you can."

 

[Kililia]

Lenore gasped as they stood in her path and slammed the door in her face. She looked back at the king in horror:" please, please, your majesty..allow me see my fiance...let me explain to him...allow me this much..please!"

 

[susurrus]

Axel sat.

"Why are you so desperate? Why do you have to tell him? He's being presented with a document that explains the situation. Whatever feelings might arise from the knowledge aren't going to change if you tell him in person. In fact, it spares you any hard feelings he might have toward it all."

 

[Kililia]

Lenore shook her head in tear: : Please do not do this...I love this man...I can't consume this marriage to you...pleased mercy!" She was trembling , sobbing in hope to discourage him to this union. She turn and try open the door asking someone to open the door, dramatically.

He realized their first time would be by force, allowing him release some frustration of not being able be with Ophelia as husband and wife.
She was unaware her fiance was offered financial aid to his family and a wife with a royal gift (house and land) to vow never see Lenore which he accepted.

Axel sighed, then went to Lenore, took her arm and led her to a chair.

"Sit. Stay."

Aside from the brief kiss earlier, his guiding her to where she currently sat was the only physical contact he'd had with this woman. Pulling a chair to face her, he sat.

Looking directly into her eyes, he stated firmly and slowly:

"This is not my doing. I understand how you feel. You cannot see your fiance, because, due to no action on my part, he is no longer your fiance. I may be the king, but in this, I am powerless."

Lenore sobbed as he took her by the arm to have her sit down. She wiped her tears as she forced herself to listen to the king.
The words cut deep as she knew that he spoke the truth. It did not make it any easier to accept as she wiped her tears. She found it hard to find the words.

" Majesty you can continue bed your lover and I can raised the child as my own. There is no need for us to consume this union"
