Andrea Marcus lay on the ground, her sides in pain from being punched so much... She wasn't sure how she had been laying on the ground seeing as how she had passed out several times, losing consciousness. Carefully, she sat up, realizing the lack of light and the chill in the air. She held in a groan and ignored the spinning of her surroundings as she got up, steadying herself against the brick wall of the alley she seemed to be in.

What the hell happened anyway? It seemed like a blur... the last thing she recalled was tailing a subject, being ordered to follow him when she felt an intense sharpness stab her side and it was from there, images seem to come up in a haze.

Looking down at herself, she noticed she was wearing black slacks, which were a mess from both dirt and dried blood...either her own or someone else's.. maybe both. The sounds of the big city was a blur in the background as she concentrated on what had happened in the past few days. Why the hell was it so hard to remember?

"FREEZE!" Came the warning, albeit shaky and filled with forced authority, Andrea turned and saw a gun pointed right at her, the officer was wide eyed and didn't look too confident as he stood there. "Put your hands up and no sudden movements!!" He said as he moved forward toward Andrea. It all sounded so...rehearsed. Trying not to roll her eyes, Andrea put her hands up and watched as the officer walked over to her, his eyes darting from her to something on the ground in the alley. She followed his gaze and saw it.

A body.

What the hell.

Only the legs were sticking out from behind the back of the dumpster and she could make out the shoes...nice, the sort of shoes a business man would wear and the pants, grey slacks, pressed at the hem.

What the hell.

"Turn around and face the wall!" The cop said as he inched closer.

"Look, officer, this isn't what it looks like." Andrea said, watching him...well, watching mostly the gun and the way his finger seemed to shake against the trigger. It then hit her...what did it look like? She was in an alley, blood smeared on her. There appeared to be a dead man on the ground...

Before she could say anymore, the cop grabbed her by the shoulder and forced her around and slammed her against the wall. With a grunt and a lot of effort, Andrea didn't fight back..at least not yet.

"I'm placing you under arrest.." he said, as he finally holstered his gun.

Big mistake, she thought.

With a quick move, before the officer could react, Andrea threw her head back, knocking the back of her head into the nose of the cop, who cried out and fell to his knees. Her movement was fast as she grabbed the cop by the arm, twisted it back behind him and pushed her knee into his back, forcing him onto his stomach, Andrea then grabbed his cuffs and quickly fastening his hands behind his back as she leaned close to his ear, "Listen Officer..." she leaned down closer after examining his name badge, "Officer Harmon...I'm sorry to do this to you but I have other plans right now. Just know that I didn't kill the guy over there and if I did, I'm sure it was because he was up to something really bad, so right now, I just need to find out more and you're in my way..."

Pushing herself up off of him, she grabbed the radio on his shoulder and called out, "Officer in need of assistance..." she looked around and then back down at the man on the ground, slightly kicking his side, "What's the address?!"

"12th and Rowen" He said, not hesitating.

Rattling off the address, Andrea went over to the man on the ground behind the dumpster and felt around his person until she felt his wallet in his jacket pocket. She quickly put it in her own pocket and headed down the opposite end of the alley. Her stride was fast and confident.

She needed to find a place to hide and clean up. Then after all that, it was time to find out what the hell was going on.

"Tell me, who sent him?!"

It was hard to breathe, yet, Andrea forced herself to remain calm. This was, after all, nothing compared to what she was put through while training to become a CIA agent.

But it was more than she had anticipated as drug after drug was being forced into her system... first, a barbiturate which made her pass out... no matter how hard she tried to stay awake, the drug made her pass out...

She wasn't sure how long of a time she was out for, but she could only assume it was a few minutes at a time...

On the table next to the chair she was bound to, lay a pile of used hypodermic needles, one stack a blue tinge to the casing, and the other, an orange color...

Each time she was out, a memory or two flashed before her eyes and then suddenly, she was yanked back out of the darkness in a violent manner as the other drug..probably dopamine, worked it's way though her system, giving her system a hard yank, so to speak, making her scream with pain from the sudden jolt her heart received, along with her nervous system and lungs... she fought to breathe as she sweated profusely and tried to yank her arms free from the chair...

"Listen..Agent...whomever you go by now, this can all stop if you just tell us the location of your employer..."

Andrea woke with a jolt! It was as if she was reliving the past all over again, her temporary bed, a crate on a floor in an empty warehouse emphasized the pain she had been in. It took her a few moments to realize that she wasn't living the nightmare over again and had composed herself as the cell she had picked up from the previous night had started to ring....

She was, of course, hesitant to answer it, but knew it could be the signal she was waiting for...

Hitting 'answer' on the phone, which no number was displayed, she brought it up to her ear, answering, "Hello?"
