I have. Trump does not encourage violence, but he does encourage self-defense. However, even this is not directed against specific persons.

I've watched his rallies. If you call what he encouraged as self-defense, you are in an alternate reality.

Have you ever seen or heard him attack a peaceful demonstrator or call on his minions to do so? He does call for violence against those who physically attack him or his supporters or try to violate his First Amendment rights or those of his supporters. I consider him to be an asshole because of his business dealings but not because of his actions on a podium.

When did he ever say that? In the NYT videotape, he does say he would pay the legal fees of those who defend him against attackers. Do you have anything where he calls on his supporters to attack peaceful demonstrators?
