I was in Santa Fe, New Mexico one summer (and don't let them tell you it's OK because it's dry heat!) at one of those big box stores when the police were called in because someone had found a gun in a toilet stall. It's not just the endless lying (claiming Denmark has no claim to Greenland, for example, when the USA has signed on to numerous treaties saying it does), because all politicians lie, though most of them are much more careful to make their lies at least sound plausible.
It's the rambling incoherent speech, the cognitive decline, the episodes of mindless rage, that bring up the words "sundowning" and "dementia" and "25th Amendment moment."
