USS Dark Fire (IC)

Hora

“Ambassador, thank you for your help in all this. I’ll get you images of all those people. And if I was not clear, you have full access to the ship, to find the spy aboard. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to talk to Commander Reeves alone.” Hora requested.

The Ambassador nodded and departed Hora’s quarters.

“Reeves… what happened in the transporter bay was not good.” Hora pointed out. “The creature started to attack us because of what happened there. We might lose a crew member, and in my opinion, there was a breakdown of command authority. The federation command directive 010 states that "Before engaging alien species in battle, any and all attempts to make first contact and achieve non-military resolution must be made.” I think everyone must remember it. I don’t care if they are Klingon or not.

I was not there, you were. Is there something I’m missing?” Hora asked

Stardate 29870517.2235

Reeves:
“Captain, I was there. There was no breakdown. The enemy vessel was beamed aboard and once we were sure it wss in isolation The Ambassador attempted to make contact with it physically. The Mjor ordered her to stop and I agree with her actions. She then ordered one of her Marines to make physical contact with the specimen. Within seconds the Marine was being absorbed by the ship, I think the proper term would be.. digested or perhaps bio-engineered. A process that is still happening from what I understand. If the Ambassador had done so, then we’d be losing the Ambassador instead of the Marine.”

“Although the Major gave the order, and I’ll speak with her about that, I would have given the same command. Get that craft off the ship. If you’d like for us to grab another one we can try again.”

“As for it attacking us because of what happened there, might I point out that they launched fighter craft first. And began.. eating.. the marine. First.”

“Don’t get me wrong, I do see what you’re saying.” Reeves said, But I would remind you. Starfleet General Order 12: ‘On the approach of any vessel when communications have not been established, Starfleet safety-of-personnel requirements indicate that said vessel should be treated as potentially hostile until proven otherwise, and in consequence a standard defensive posture should be adopted.’ And as said ship has attacked us, and caused grievous injury to a crew member, that order still stands. And must remain until we can establish communication.”

"As First Officer, I'm required to play the devil's advocate, even when I don't like it."

“Thanks for explaining” Hora nodded in acceptance. “Major K'alena is probably waiting outside my door. You better go. Have fun with Lt Sol.”

As Reeves departed, Hora quickly called sickbay Medical Officer “The creature lives in deep space, that is probably why the stasis field is not having an effect. One thing you might not be aware of, when we tried to communicate with the creature, low power laser light caused damage. You might want to try a full laser illumination bath. All bands, all frequencies. If more internal intensity is need use the nano-laser diodes injected directly into the blood stream.

Another idea... if it helps, Orions have copper-based blood just like Vulcans. But our blood also supports our photosynthesis. That might be helpful, if you need me I’ll be down there right away. Hora out”

Hora took a deep breath. She hoped the medical staff was not offended by her communication. She had been told they were excellent… but until she had that level of trust, she felt she needed to make sure they knew everything.

She opened the door and Major K'alena walked in

“nuq'neH” Hora said in Klingon (close term to “greetings”, actual translation “what do you want?”)

Stardate 29870517.2245

Major K'alena :
“Captain,” The Klingon replied as she stepped inside. Two Marines stood outside the door as closed behind her. “I’ve received order from General Hammed, MACO Force Command, Daegu Garrison. I’ve been ordered to take you into custody for sedition.” She said in typical Klingon fashion. Blunt, boarding on rude, and to the point.

Holding out the printed orders she added, ‘I’ve also been ordered to apprehend Ambassador M’Chel and Su’Nak - The Vulcan Security Officer with her, Chief Medical Officer Lieutenant Dr. Gil Grissom, Dr. Sara Sidle, Commander Jordan Reeves and his wife Dr. L’Sa T’Ker T’Gahn of the Xenobiology Division.”

“My orders also require that I collect any and all evidence concerning the death of Captain James Marcus.”

“And to return this vessel to Deep Star Nine where I am to turn you and all prisoners over to Fleet Command where you will be transferred to Rura Penthe.”

“I find it unusual that you will be sent to a prison without a trial. As such I believe this is a political manipulation and that my orders are false.”

“Major K'alena” Hora started “I believe you are correct; your orders are not legitimate. As you are aware, The Uniform Code of Fleet Officers gives military members the right to disobey orders that they believe are illegal or violate the founding principles of the federation. This is known as the "duty to disobey". This right applies to orders given in both in peace and wartime. According to the doctrine, superior orders do not exonerate violations, and service members who carry out illegal orders can be convicted along with the superiors.

I received similar orders.” Hora said and handed the list she had received. “Here are my orders from Commodore Daniel MacPherson Seventh Fleet.

You will see I have similar list with a few notable exceptions. I was not asked to turn over the command of the ship and arrest myself. Dr. Gil Grissom or Dr Sara Sidle are not on my list.

I have taken a few measured steps in case there is some truth to my orders. Commander Reeves is under the watchful eye of Lt Sol, and I restricted the Vulcans from engineering and weapon spaces. My plan is to return to deep star nine, after we complete this first contact with this large biological.

I will also tell you the science department has uncovered evidence that Captain Marcus was murdered. It appears to have started long before the actual event. I also have seen evidence of Betazed, Vulcan, Ullian, and Psi Corp officer involvement. Which means senior people we have known for years can’t be trusted.

Lastly, a very small subset of people knew I have evidence Captain Marcus was murdered. Yet your orders ask you to collect this evidence. Someone, within the last few hours, is leaking information back to Deep Star Nine. Or they just made a lucky guess. I think we have a spy.

Whoever is doing this does not follow the Klingon code of honor. Anyhow, what are your thoughts? Why different people on each list? What should we do next?” Hora asked.

Lt Sol

Lt Sol followed behind Commander Reeves. From his body language and grim face, Zosh knew the man did not like him.

“Commander, I sense you do not like me. I can assure you; the feeling is mutual. I don’t like weaklings. However, I know how to follow orders, even if given by an inferior race” Lt Sol explained.

Stardate 29870517.2245

Major K'alena :
“I don’t know why there are different people on each list, nor would I make a guess, Captain” The Major replied. “Maybe you should ask the synthetic. It knows everything else.”

“And the Biological should be subjugated. It’s inferior.” She said, showing her teeth in a smile.

Reeves:
Stopping in the passage The commander turned to look at the Croco-Lamian. “You use your muscles instead of your brain. You belittle everyone you perceive as inferior, and you have no patience.”

“Since you claim to be able to follow orders, here is a couple. Directive One: Be nice to everyone around you, even if you don’t like them. Directive Two: Don’t ever go into my quarters.”

Turning around The Commander started walking again. “Can you understand and obey those orders, or are they too high intellect for you to understand?”

Hora

“A few more things… If I understand Klingon culture you can assassinate your superior and take his/her place. However, this is only done under certain conditions, such as dereliction of duty and cowardice, and the challenge can be made only to a direct superior. Therefore you can’t assassinate me, since I’m not your superior. Do I understand that correctly?

“And if I may ask, what was your relationship with Captain Marcus? Were you two having sex?” Hora asked

Lt Sol

“Yes sir, I can follow those orders.” Zosh replied with a grin of all his sharp teeth. “Be nice to everyone around you, even if you don’t like them.” He repeated “What do you like? Shall get you flowers?” Zosh asked. “Or would you like a kiss?”

“And don’t worry, I hate the smell of warm bloods… I’m not going into your quarters.” He added.

Major K'alena :
“Yes, I may assassinate my superior, if this was a Vessel of the Klingon Empire. Unfortunately it is not.” The Major replied with a smile. But when Hora asked if she had been fucking the previous Captain she burst out laughing. “Fuck a Human? They are far to fragile to have sex with! I’d mate with a Gorn first.”

Reeves:
The Lieutenant had to be trying to goad him into anger, or frustration, no one was that stupid to not understand the orders. “Yes I’d like Flowers, White Vulcan Lilies and A Gespar Plant, at your convenience. I don’t like to be touched.”

Returning to the Bridge Reeves assumed Command, and stood at the Holo station, watching the target vessel. Standing straight and stiff he closed his eyes and listened to the room as the Crew made status reports.

“Science, Report on the micro-particles emitted by the ship?”

“Bacterial Spores, Commander.” Came the reply.

“Medical, Report on the Marine.”

“Genetic structure still being rewritten, Commander. EMH reports Ten percent of his mass has been converted so far.”

“Security, I want a five man team down there. If he breaks out. Incapacitate him. No Disintegration!”

Lt Sol

As Zosh stood on the bridge, he quietly ordered the White Vulcan Lilies and Gespar Plant to the commander’s room. Then he overheard the comments about the Bacterial Spores being emitted by the large biological.

“Maybe the spores are how it communicates?” He suggested to Commander Reeves.

Hora

Hora laughed with Major K'alena about sex with a human. “I think we are going to get along great!” She said to the major.

“Well, I need to see Lt Commander Aegeri next” Hora said as she showed the Major out and let Aegeri into her quarters.

Loka Bumme

https://rule34.xxx/index.php?page=post&s=view&id=9923741

Loka spent 4 years on the world of Oblik as a bio-scientist. Oblik more common name was “The Dinosaur Planet”. She had always been interested in studying lizards and cool-blooded animals and the planet was a perfect place to further her knowledge.

Loka had just been briefed on the biological creature the ship had encountered. The whole team had been asked to think of ways to communicate with the creature. They had also been tasked with figuring out anything that might stop the genetic re-sequencing disease one of the crew members had contracted.

Loka entered her room. It was a hot and humid and filled with jungle plants. This was not a holo-projection. She had brought aboard many of the plants and animals from her time on Oblik.

“Slinky… where are you?” She asked as she found a chair among all the plants. The large semi-intelligent vine snake came out of hiding. It was 6 feet long and slithered over to her. She petted it as it curled up on her lap.

“There is this big creature we are following…” She explained to her snake. The vine snake had the intelligence of an very smart earth dog and knew she was talking to him. So he listened and nodded his head every once in a while. Loka used Slinky as a sounding board for her ideas.

Lt Commander Aegeri:
Stepping across the Threshold The Zabraxian Security Chief stopped just inside the doorway. “Captain” He said, blood red eyes sweeping the room. If he cried would his tears be blood?

“I have a set of orders from Starfleet Command, regarding Commander Reeves, and several others. As I don’t wish to interfere with the Chain of Command, I came to you.”

Reeves:
Zosh was informed by the Quartermaster that White Vulcan Lilies were rare, bloomed only once a year, and were not available at this time. Gespar plant on the other hand was plentiful and would be delivered as requested.

After the communication comment Reeves looked at Sol with a raised eyebrow. “Communication through Bacterial Spores? If it was possible, how? Have a plausibility/probability report on my desk by 0600 hrs.”

At least it would give the Dinosaur a chance to use his brain instead of muscles.

Lt Sol

Zosh walked over to an open station on the bridge quickly started an analysis of his idea. The computer came back with many different spore related communications. Fungi "talk" and respond to many other beings on many worlds. Through mycorrhizal mutualisms, they even share water and food with plant partners. Parasitic fungi produce a myriad of plant growth regulators, modifying plants to suit their needs. Some fungi, such as truffles, mimic animal sex pheromones to attract mammals and insects that act as “sporinators,” the fungal equivalent to pollinators. Other fungi are prey to roundworms (also known as nematodes). When they detect a nematode nearby, they can produce defensive compounds to ward it off. Other fungi hunt nematodes by detecting their chemical presence.

But none of these ideas would work in space. How could the spores travel fast enough to be used for communication? That was when he realized that this creature was capable of warp drive. The spores could be accelerated via a warp bubble, kind of like ride an ocean wave on a surf board.

The key to communicating with the creature would be to figure out what chemicals correlated with what words. Dark Fire might be able to do that analysis. He quick wrote up his findings and sent the report to Commander Reeves.

Hora

“Lt Commander Aegeri, I’m glad to meet you” Hora said and shook his hand. “And about your orders, I have some orders too, and so does Major K'alena” Hora added. “I’d love to see who you were ordered to detain? Our lists were not the same. But both seem to be related to Captain Marcus’ accident.” Hora explained. She went to say “which I don’t understand. It was accident and well investigated. Even in a case of gross negligence, that is not a good reason to end this ship’s mission.” Hora went on to tell the Lt Commander about assigning Lt Sol to Commander Reeves and restricting the Vulcans.

“What are your thoughts on all this?” She asked him.

Stardate 29870517.2300

Reeves:
After reading over the report Reeves looked at Zosh and nodded. The man had intelligence after all. “Lt. Sol, forward this to The Captain, Xenobiology, The Medical team treating the Marine Stonn, and Communications. Hopefully they can make headway. Check and see if we have any Mycopian based personnel on board as well, Civilian or Staff. If we do bring them into the loop as well.”

“And Lieutenant… Good Work.”

Lt. Commander Aegeri:
“My List is comprised of Lieutenant Commander Jordan Reeves, Xenobiologist L’Sa T’Ker T’Gahn, Chief Medical Officer Lt. Gil Grissom, Medical Officer Sara Sidle, as well as the Vulcan Ambassador and her attache.”

“Commander Reeves ordered the investigation in Captain James’ death. Doctor’s Grissom and Sidle were the first medical staff on scene and pronounced him dead before they moved to other patients, Dr. L’Sa performed the autopsy.”

“My greatest concern is no charges are attached to the directive. It’s against protocol to arrest, or restrain, individuals without charges. I have seen orders to apprehend with a label of ‘charges pending’. But these orders don’t list anything.”

“My thoughts? I think something very wrong is going on, why would we all receive orders to basically make sure that those individuals are arrested, detained, or restricted? I would recommend reopening the investigation into the death of Captain Marcus.”

Lt Sol

Zosh was happy to gain praise from the XO. Why, he was not sure. But it made him happy. He ran a search for fungi based life forms and found none on USS Dark Fire. However, there was a large data base on the Elachi. The Elachi are fungal-based humanoids with mushroom-shaped heads and eyes mounted on short stalks.

Their reproductive process involved infecting a "normal" humanoid with fungal spores that gradually consume the host body and coalesce into a newborn Elachi. The process effectively kills the previous owner of the body and creates a new mind.

They did not speak via sound, but via spores. The similarities were enough for Zosh to request the main computer to cross reference the language with what they had seen from the biological spaceship. He forwarded his finding to the Captain, Xenobiology, The Medical team treating the Marine Stonn, and Communications.

Hora

“Lt Commander, I think reopening the investigation is a good idea. But I think there is something else going on. This is not directly about Captain Marcus’ death” Hora suggested.

“Let’s flip this around. Let’s assume there are people back at the space station that are up to no good. Killing an admiral, swapping star charts, etc. They want Commander Reeves, Xenobiologist L’Sa, Chief Medical Officer Grissom, Medical Officer Sidle, as well as the Vulcan Ambassador and her attaché detained. Why? Maybe because they know something… or can do something. I’m going to throw out the two medical personnel as red herrings. The rest, however, seem to make sense. All Vulcans, except Reeves. Since there seems to be some kind of mind control aspect to this, I’m thinking the Vulcans can do something and they are worried about it.

This leads me to a scary possibility. They want to end this mission or take control of this ship. The black hole would have damaged the ship badly, forcing us to return to the space station. Ending the mission. The detention orders I have also include returning to the space station and turning them over. Ending the mission. Another possibility these bad people, might want to take control of this ship. Take down the XO and Vulcans, then mind control the new CO or just replace her.

I might sound a bit paranoid, but something is not adding up. As my chief of security, can you also look into any additional evidence to support these other possibilities? Also is there a good defense to mind control? Reeves might be on the detain list, because his Vulcan wife will notice right away if he is not himself.” Hora asked. then added with a smile “I might need to start dating a Vulcan!” She laughed.

Aegeri:
“I’ll begin my investigation under the theory that a conspiracy is happening. And I’ll do my best to determine, why and what the end goal is.”

Unknown Marine:
Stepping around the corner the Marine grabbed Ensign Cook by the shoulders and threw her into the bulkhead. Before they picked her up and repeated the maneuver several more times.

The marine was in full combat gear, obscuring every possible identifying detail. No name plate or rank was visible and the tactical visor was in place hiding their face and giving them access to a full array of information.

Picking up Ensign Cook the Marine carried her to an airlock, and forced her inside, and sealed the inner door. The statement, though nonverbal, was obvious. They could kill her if they wanted. Whomever the Marine was, they were strong.

Instead, the Marine watched her through the window for a moment before walking away.

Hora entered the ship’s medical facilities, this included a sickbay, Chief Medical Officer’s and Counselor’s Offices, the Pharmacology, Xenobiology and Medical labs. Each area location through different doors. The place was massive compared to what Hora was used to on a smaller ships. The deck also contained the Emergency Transporter Room where the Vulcan crew member had been brought after touching the biological spaceship.

Hora saw through one window a young science officer talking to the blonde Vulcan L’Sa. Since there was no one to greet her, she walked over and interrupted L’Sa

LT Loka Bumme

“Here is what I found in my research” Loka explained to L’Sa. “In recent years, mycologists and herpetologists have discovered how resistant Croco-Lamia are to the pathogenic chytrid fungi Batrachochytrium. The associated disease, chytridiomycosis, had caused no deaths in their colony.

Despite how virulent and effective that fungi disease was in mammals. Most species of fungi are not harmful to reptiles and amphibians. In fact, they are actually beneficial to their biology. Many fungi are nutritionally important for lizard humanoids and some species lay their eggs in fungi nests to improve the gestation period.

I know we are dealing with a genetic reprograming disease, and this is a long shot. But if I could collect a blood sample from Lt Sol, I think it might be helpful.”

"Sorry to interrupt, but I was called to medical?" Hora said.

Stardate 29870518.0830

“Ask the Croco-Lamia, Lt. Sol, for a Blood and Tissue sample. Also check with any other Reptilian based personnel. Run your tests, Maximum containment and isolation protocols. Use a Medical Hologram for any physical contact.”

“Yes Captain,” L’Sa replied. “I apologize for not having spoken with you earlier, except under official capacity during the conference.”

Walking through the Medical Center, which seemed to be more of a full hospital than a simple emergency facility on a starship, she directed the Captain to a separate section with red and black markings on the floor, walls, and ceilings.

She was average Vulcan height and build for a female. Though she certainly wore her hair longer than most, especially considering her field of study and work. Most of her feminine features were hidden by the lab coat she wore, but the white thermal suit she wore was like a second skin to her trim body.

“Ensign Stonn is conscious.. and.. semi vocal. Not everything he say makes sense but it’s a working theory that the reconstruction is affecting his neural pathways enough that we can communicate with the alien side of him.”

“So far the only information we’ve been able to obtain is. Hungry. Food. Destroy. Consume. Remake. As well as some screeching that doesn’t process through a linguacode translation. It may just be an expression of Frustration. Or Pain.”

“The mutation is happening faster than we initially calculated, current mutation is twenty-two percent. Revised estimates ... seventy-one hours before complete conversion.”

Looking through the shielding at the patient L’Sa added, “This is his first duty station. And he’s reverted to speaking only Vulcan. His first language.”

Moving over to a display she tapped several controls and the Marine’s Holoform came up, the rewritten DNA was illuminated by red lines running though his body, several tendrils reaching up to his brain as others had tapped every organ within his chest cavity. One of the rather startling events was his arm had been regrown, though it was more like a claw now.

“Analysis of the regrowth indicated it could cut a through Titanium bulkhead, or door. Analysis indicates 4000 psi."

“The claw reformation is rather disturbing.” Hora said as she looked at the claw. Then she seemed to switch off her emotions and focused on the task “Well… let’s trying talking to it. You’ll need to translate.

Hungry. Food. Destroy. Consume. Remake… does that refer to the larger biological? Fungi are always hungry… but what does this thing like to eat? Radiation? Light? Neutrino? Dark energy? Something from fluidic subspace? Tachyons? Please ask him or suggest some of these items and let’s see how he reacts. After the food is consumed… will it “remake” itself? Turn into something else? Or produce more biologicals?

Or does this… Hungry. Food. Destroy. Consume. Remake. Refer to what the creature is doing to Ensign Stonn? The fungus is hungry… eating him for food… destroying/consuming him… and he will be remade.” Hora suggested

“Another thing to think about… is temperature… a lot if fungi shut down at higher temperature. I know Vulcan like higher temps. Have you tried raising the temperature? Might slow the thing down.” Hora suggested

LT Loka Bumme

Loka walked onto the bridge and quickly spotted Lt Sol.

“Oh My” She gasped just a little too loud as Commander Reeves looked at her for a moment with a frown on his face. But Loka could not help herself. Lt Sol was a truly spectacular sight to see. He was in perfect condition with a large head, lots of big sharp teeth, and strikingly beautiful coloration with large armored scales across his neck.

He was huge and strong. His scales looked so health and vibrate. He was just very attractive reptile, if you like reptiles. And Loka loved reptiles. She walked over to him. He turned to face her, that was when she saw his predatory reptilian eyes. Prefect bedroom eyes… for her.

“Can I help you?” He asked with proud confidence. Another turn-on for Loka. She could feel her nipples getting hard and her pussy getting moist just looking at him.

“Lt Sol, I’m Lt Bumme, but please call me Loka.” She said, but there was just a little too sexiness in the way she had said it. “I need your help. We think your blood might be useful in discovering a counter measure to the biological disease. Can I get a blood sample and a small tissue sample from you?”

He smiled at Loka, "Sure” he answered.

Loka thought his smile and deep voice were so sexy. She wanted nothing more than to give him a deep passionate kiss right there.

“Ok… this won’t take but a few seconds.” Loka said. She quickly pressed a micro-sample device against his arm. She could his strength and muscles in that arm, which turned her on more. She just imagined what he would be like in bed. Dominate, powerful, driving his cock into her. Some reptiles had two cocks! What would that be like? The device beeped.

“I guess you’re a bit too hard for the normal setting” Loka said. Then her face turned red, when she realized what she had said. “I mean your skin is a too hard for the normal setting” She corrected. She adjusted the device to full strength. The second time she got the sample. “Thank you, LT” she said and quickly walked off the bridge hoping she had not embarrassed herself too much.

“We’ve dropped the temperature to critical levels and increased them to higher than Vulcan high temperatures. They don’t appear to have any effect on the bacteria though the host has suffered. Due to the extra planetary nature, we believe that it can withstand extreme temperatures and may eventually go dormant, but the temperatures needed would kill the host.”

“We’ve also tried various radiation therapies and none of them have had effect, other than gamma radiation increasing the growth speed of the bacterium.”

“The temperature we reached before the Ensign started having biological failure was far higher than any human could have tolerated. We are assuming survival of the host is still desired,' L'Sa sated looking at the Captain. "Yes?"

“Lt. Sol,” Reeves said gesturing him over. “The next time your female friend comes on the bridge during a Yellow or Red alert it’s protocol to speak with the Highest-Ranking Officer first, before anything else.”

“And flirting during Emergency conditions is frown upon.” Turning back to the holo display he watched the image of the alien mothership for any changes. “But since she seems to like you, be nice back.”

Hora

“No, of course I want to keep Ensign Stonn alive” Hora said firmly. “Have you asked him the food questions? Could gamma radiation be a food source, since that seems to make the bacterium growth faster?” Hora asked

Lt Sol

“Yes Sir” Lt Sol replied to Commander Reeves. But in his head, he was thinking “girlfriend”? He had never met that officer before. She was NOT his race or type. The commander had said she was flirting with him. He did not get that. She was here simply to draw blood and that was all.

He wiped the encounter from his mind. He went back to his task.

Stardate 29870517.2315

L’Sa:
“The Patient just keeps repeating the same words. As for it.. consuming Gamma radiation, I believe it’s a more suitable environment. As if I was giving you more oxygen, you’re not consuming it. It just makes it easier for you. Also Gamma Radiation is one of the more plentiful forms of Radiation given off by Red and Yellow stars. Which are the primary host stars for Minshara class planets.”

“Perhaps Gamma Radiation encourages a better metabolic rate?” L’Sa commented. “The Marine didn’t contain Gamma Radiation before we introduced it. Though the Host form it touched did contain residual Gamma Radiation. If it is a food source, we don’t have enough data yet.””

Thrashing on the bed, The Marine suddenly strained against the force fields holding it and shouted. “Consume All. Re-Make-Pure.” Green sweat dappled the Marine's skin as he strained. “Deneb el Okab! Consume!”

Reeves:
“Lieutenant Sol,” Reeves said, pointing at a data display of the female. “Her heart rate, respiration, and perspiration increased when she touched you. And it’s still elevated, so no she’s not afraid of you. I would recommend that after your shift, or rather after my shift, you try and talk to her. Nicely.”

Hora

“Dark Fire, tell me about Deneb el Okab?” Hora asked the ship’s AI.

Deneb el Okab is the human name for the twin star system. Deneb el Okab is from an Arabic term meaning "the tail of the eagle". Epsilon Aquilae and Zeta Aquilae, orbit each other over a period of 1,271 days (3.5 years) with an eccentricity (ovalness) of 0.27.

Epsilon Aquilae is an evolved giant star with a stellar classification of K1-IIICN0.5 showing a mild overabundance of the CN molecule in the spectrum. This star is a barium star, meaning its atmosphere is extremely enriched with barium and other heavy elements.

Zeta Aquilae is a typical A-type star. The estimated age of this star is 50–150 million years. Rotating nearly edge-on, with an inclination (with respect to the plane of sky) of 85°. It is rotating rapidly, with a projected rotational velocity of 317 km s−1 giving a lower bound on the azimuthal velocity along the equator. As a result, it has a pronounced equatorial bulge, causing the star to assume an oblate spheroidal shape. The equatorial radius is about 30.7% greater than the polar radius.” Dark Fire explained.

“Stop computer.” Hora said. “A Barium star is somewhat unique. L’Sa, could that be the food it is after?” Hora asked. Hora thought of something else. “Denobulans possess particularly powerful immune system; They are able to fight off assimilated by the Borg, at least for a while. Could they also fight off this disease?” Hora asked.

Lt Sol

“Yes sir” Zosh replied the commander again. He wanted Zosh to “Talk to her nicely to Loka”. Zosh was wondering what that meant. If she wanted to have an intimate relationship with him. That would be weird. Croco used a variety of signals to communicate with each other during courtship, including head slaps, snout rubbing, vocalizations, and changes in body profile. For example, Zosh being the male, would start courting her for a month, this would be similar to taking someone to dinner, say. Then when he felt it was time, he would slap his head against hers. If she was interested, she’d raise her snout and arch her tail. Lt Bumme did not have a tail! Then they would rub their snouts on each other's heads, similar to human kissing. This kind of meant they were a couple. After some time, this might lead to him be more intimate and rubbing his head elsewhere. If she wanted to… she would return the gesture. The mating "dance" might start, whereby they would caress each other's bodies with their heads. Once fully excited, the male would vocalize a low humming noise and mate with her. This mating might last 12 hours.

“Maybe, I’m getting ahead of myself” Zosh thought. “I should just stop by her quarters and say hi. Then the commander would get off my back”

Ensign Cook

Ensign Cook was badly beaten. There was blood all over her uniform. She groaned and without opening her eyes she felt her head. Most of the dried blood came from a slit along the side of her head. There were also two cuts, one on her arm and another on her side. She tried to sit up, but that caused her to moan in pain.

“I have to sit up” she said to herself. "or no one will see me" And she pulled herself to a sitting position. Her uniform top was torn and her chest was partially exposed.

She laughed, but stopped quickly as that hurt too much. Nevertheless, she was amused by the thought, “People notice tits… as soon as I can to the airlock window, someone will free me.”

A minute later, she grabbed the bulkhead and pulled herself to a standing position and leaned her chest against the airlock window.

Lt. Commander Shino Mc’Leo

Shino Mc’Leo was walking down the passageway when he saw a beautiful pair of tits in the airlock window.

He shook his head “Whoa dude, lay off the catnip! You're totally catching some weird vibes.” He said to himself. Then the tits… seemed to move a little.

“Dude, gotta scope this out. Could be a sick trip!” He said to himself and walked over to the airlock. hoping his "trip" would be even better. Then he opened the airlock.

“Whoa, bummer dude, you're legit injured. I'll score you some med help” Shino said to Ensign Cook and grabbed her arm and pulled up on her feet again.

They headed off to medical
