we been having Temps in the 90ts~ the Water is ok in the 60ts unless we get a Northwind then its freezing

I had the 4th off but working this week-end

We did a double header at the movies on the 4th..saw WALL-E and Ironman...both good movies...then in the evening we drove to the amusement park and watched some great fireworks

I sat here watching an old movie and listened to them from outside, the area closest is a mile or so down the lake. I've had all the sitting in lines waiting to leave I need in life, so the noise was enough

I hear you on that one!!!! We didn't go into the park,just parked on a side street close by so when it was over we could get out quick.

So how's retail going?

I've got to tell you there is a squirrel out on the patio trying to get to my bird feeder. This has been going on for three days. He has fallen at least twenty times.....

same here, but for extreme drought its not too bad. I'm sure it will be just as bad when I go to NY in Aug.

The sun has been the tenderest of lovers during my vacation... not so today, I spent most of my day driving here and there running a million little errands and I'm exhausted. I'm having some coffee and then retiring to my air-conditioned bedroom with Kats in order to recover.
We'll be going to the open-air cinema tonight to see Mamma Mia!
