Valentine's Day story rejected because ... account removed?!

You’re right, it is. The implication you’re making is that, because of this, maybe I use AI to write also. I get that. But I don’t.
Right, so as a writer, you know words have meaning. When you say -
I do NOT use AI
I don’t. That’s the thing.
I’m not implying anything. We don’t know each other, so what I have to judge is what you present.

You say you don’t use AI, but you do. That’s fine, whatever. My advice, personally, is you and everyone else would be better off with a completely AI free account, especially as a writer representing a website that for now, is anti-AI both on the forums and on the story side.

Unfortunately it isn't that simple as the site itself is a bit conflicted. They do allow fake images as book covers for example.
It doesn’t have to be simple but users can simplify things by just not using AI.

I understand it’s convenient, I understand AI is here to stay, and I understand there are get arounds and tricks to slide AI content in.

I also know that Lit doesn’t have some immaculate AI detection software, whatever they’re working with is janky and unlikely to keep up with how AI is evolving.

So AI slips in and it’s easy to look about and say “well it’s here, here, and here so Literotica doesn’t have a solid AI policy” and you’d be correct, but that doesn’t mean it’s permitted. It’s just sliding through the cracks in this handy dandy door we call Lit.

After the great white out of '25 when I lost my AI photo of a fancy elegant collar, I decided to make a crappy lame version of it on paint because I had a steadily growing fear that AI photos were a red flag. But I'm still not sure. I see tons of hyper realistic AI photos of sexy models on here, and I suspect not all of those accounts are having their stories rejected for AI use.

You know what? You’re right. Genuinely, thanks, I hadn’t thought of it that way.

Words are important, they have meaning, and if we’re asking people to look at our words, then what surrounds them affects that. A good point, well made.

Just for fun, I plucked your old profile pic out of the Wayback Machine:

Did anyone ever know why that happened? Cause if all the ones that were deleted were AI that would actually add to the AI avatars are seen as red flags to either some kind of automated system or someone behind the scenes.
My avatar (not AI) was never removed. I had changed it relatively recently prior to the great white-out though. I recall people with non-AI avatars having them removed.

I thought that maybe it was due to the no-nudity thing. They changed the rules to disallow nudity, and after a certain date only allowed avatars without nudity. Then, to ensure no nudity, they later wiped avatars uploaded prior to that date, so they could review if/when they were re-loaded. Easier than going through one-by-one.

To be clear, this is just my guess. I have no more idea than anyone else, but I think if it was for AI reasons, then they wouldn't be approving AI avatars.
