I envy you - I've always wanted to visit Vancouver! Actually, I want to cruise the Princess Charlotte Straits in a motor cruiser (got my eye on an old Nasty class patrol boat, Vietnam war surplus, but it's 80 feet long, and goes 50 knots/hr, which is damn fast for something that doesn't have "Miss Budweiser" painted on it and can sleep a crew of 16. Not that I want to go that fast... but it's nice to be able to haul ass if you want to.

Come with me? I'd buy you plenty of soy milk and tofu...

So did any of you get out to enjoy the Pride parade this weekend? It goes past my apartment, so I took in the scene.

It was great (I've never seen it before). Lots of familys, laughter, and happiness. A very positive environment.

i didnt see the parade but i did play the bagpipes for a pride cruise in the idian arm on monday that was fun. i wansnt on the cruise but i was on a boat beside it heh.
