Came across a couple more photos taken around the same time as the previous chainsaw pic. The place we had at that time was relatively isolated and gardening could be carried out in a very relaxed fashion.
The one or two neighbours we had were a little way away and we rarely saw them. It was a rather idyllic spot...at first glance, and indeed it was, most of the time. However, when it rained there were leeches..on the grass! you didn't need to be in the bush to snag one. A lot of ticks and of course the regulars: black and brown snakes and funnel web spiders...in spring they were out in droves. It wasn't all bad, you just had to be careful. It was a magical spot. We lived there for about twelve years I think. It allowed us to have complete freedom and to make the most of the photography which, at that time, we were getting right into. A very large proportion of the earlier photos we load up here from time to time were taken there.
Anyhow, enough rambling.
