Very interesting slide show Richard, I enjoy seeing the old townships. How the Victorian settlers built copies of what they knew and had left behind, but modified to suit local materials and environment. With stylistic changes depending on country of origin, one sees these same buildings all over the new world countries. Even in a small country like England, as you go from county to county, locally sourced materials determine the resulting architecture. Of course the addition of the lovely Vanessa in your pictures adds a whole level of interest and makes for a wonderful distraction, thanks for sharing guys

Fantastic tour and glad you shared so much about the sights of Australia. Love pic #89 and your eye for perspective. The last entry, the video, brought it all together with knowing the ins and outs, getting her hands on the matter and, the final climactic finish, both parties ending up completely satisfied. Wow There is a mixture of architecture I see clollonial, Victorian British and what I would call rural British
A very interesting set where you show us how many differences there are between the ultra-modern Australian cities and the countryside where an old American flavor still reigns. In some photos there are also views that could be common to Irish ones (the stone houses especially) or even the countryside of Britain.
