Are the photos from walks near the mining villages you visited on your recent trip to Canberra? ….. the country side looks great with the boulders and lush looking vegetatation.

Thanks very much Vasco. No that vid was probably taken over 10 years ago at Bald Rock National Park ... an amazing place in Northern NSW.

I've been trawling through an old library of early photos we did........covering probably 2007 to 2009. Many I don't even remember; so I thought of loading them up, starting with these few. Depending on interest, there are many more from this era which I'm sure would not have been seen by many.
These were taken at the small acreage we had at Gloucester. I was building a raised walkway and was employing the assistance of an apprentice. She was appropriately dressed for work in the sun!
OH & S would probably have something to say about it though

These King Parrots were very tame. We'd walk around the yard with seed in our hands and they would just land on our shoulders or arms and then eat from our hands. It was very enjoyable.
Occasionally one, such as in the pics above, would need a little encouragement.
