(I'm a guy btw)

I sometimes wonder why the others don't do threads like mine, but I suppose I just look at things too differently than they do.:eek:

well thinking differently is a good thing! hell some of your pics have inspired whole stories for me! plus i am sure the rest of us are not as gifted in the pic finding as you. i know i am not! lol.

I wasn't always good at it, and honestly a lot of the other veterans of the lounge are just as good as I am at it.

Take Britwitch's way of seeing landscapes and building and places as inspiration for stories...I find amazing. Personally I need more than that except in rare cases.

The difference they look for something specific they have already imagined. I look for anything that sparks my imagination.

I think i look for both. you've posted a lot of BDSM type pics in the past that sparked a few threads for me... or given me a goal for an idea i already had but needed to flesh out.

Nods. At first, I looked at a lot of the shit out on the internet dealing with BDSM and thought it represented all of what that lifestyle was. A lot of people men and women that believed they had licenses to be bastards to another human being.

I didn't see, because I wasn't shown, that there was more to BDSM than bastards being bastards. Well, long story short I learned better and now search for images that try and convey the whole spectrum of the BDSM relationships to be had. Their depth, their complexity, and their power.

there are more bastards than actual Doms out there and i should know. lol. I've followed a bit of your writing... you portray it pretty darn well and your sex scenes are.... titillating to say the least. lol.

if i had known you were a guy i probably would have approached you for writing. i always try to write with those i feel are more skilled than i am. :)

Now to be fair: there are more bastards than actual good people out there in the vanilla world too.

BDSM has no monopoly on that.

I don't want to indict Doms out there just because of the bad apples.

A relationship is a difficult thing even more so when it involves something so intimate as BDSM related power dynamics between Dom and Sub.

(Of course I speak with ignorance of only an interested observer)

you are quite right and there are some wonderful and amazing Doms out there, as well as vanilla people.

Me, I try to study and collect tricks in order to play a believable dom or sub in my roleplays. I think that's the difference here in the SRPs most people take it as a lark. I'm not having fun unless I try to write my character to the best of my ability. If I fail in getting it right then, then I doubt I could get it right at all.
