What determines your color choice when it comes to buying your dildos & vibrators?? I've always been curious as to why toy manufacturers make so many color variations on seemingly the same toy! Is there one that just appeals to more people??

As long as it's not purple...although that seems to be a favourit for manufacturers. How do I decide? based on the colours available I just pick a colour I like and what looks good in the particular toy....not liking purple iusually helps the process of elimination.

personally- I go for the toy, not the color. Though darker colors look more menacing. And if it is aviable in blue (fav color) then I go for that... but, other then that - if it feels good and its sorta quiet and has the right-ness of what i'm looking for ... its as good as home.

Thanks for brightening my day with laughter! I agree...functionality is more important than color, but I won't go for any color I hate (orange, for example). I also think colors make some men feel better about the whole toy issue...a hot pink toy with a smiley face on it is not as threatening as something that resembles them and could be taken as a "substitute" for their pride and joy. Colored condoms are beyond me too...does anyone actually choose to buy them over the regular ones?

I believe Magic Wands only come in white, which is the staple toy of the household. I even went out and bought a white matching extension cord. I love Magic Wally as much as her. Colors really don't matter, though I don't think I'd be too aroused by a puke-green one.

Now for the vib itself- I've learned something being in Japan. Thier vib motors are a LOT stronger then the American ones.
And multiple pulse settings... I don't care if tis a girly lavender color.

I don't think there is any one thing that dictates what color choice I'll make.

Right now, I have several: One dark purple, one lighter lavender, one flesh colored and one hot pink, and yet still another which is a deep, hunter green.

I liked their shapes and sizes more than their looks.
