The best parents are those that bring up their children in a loving and caring environment.
The parents gender & sexuality is irrelevant.

And the state shold support all parents not just those that have the same political & ideological beliefs as those corrupt fools that sit in power.

Isnt it time for a new Bill Of Rights that applied to all Americans regardless.

Yuck. That's why I don't read Time - I prefer Newsweek and/or US News & World Report. My mom used to call it "Time: the weekly fiction magazine." I'm not at all surprised that they published something by that asshole. I agree, a counterpoint would have been very nice.
