Look's good Cloud answered but as he aproched in the far distance in the sky a small trail of smoke was rising. Zelda he said look at that it seems we may have someonelse in the area shall we check it our?
Alright Cloud said the smoke seems to be coming from that direction he said pointing so lets go. Cloud led the way to the edge of thethicker foliage which almost seemed like a wall and took his great buster sword off his back, With great swinging motions he began to make a trail through the brush.
err....I had Citan heading towards Rose, but it's been quite a while and she has not posted (hence I was trying to stall out and wait for her to start posting again) so I will kinda meander my character towards something else...that is, somebody else cutting through some major foilage. ^_^
IC:
Citan kept low to the ground and moved through the foilage swiftly. He could see a pillar of smoke rising up in the distance and decided to move towards it. It was hard to tell where he was. Everything looked the same.
As he was en route to the source of the smoke, he saw two people close by as he peered up over the grass. It was a blonde guy with a huge sword and a woman.
Citan decided to stand up and walk over to them. "Excuse me....excuse me...do you happen to know where we are?"
Zelda turned with a start. She sized him up, and spoke slowly, trying to figure out who he was.
"We have no idea where we are. I assume you don't either." She pointed off to the distance. "We're headed there. Do you want to join us?" She was kind, and had little reason to distrust him. But she'd keep an eye on him all the same. They were in a strange place, and strange things happened in strange places.
Cloud hide a smile and shook his head. Once again Zelda waisted little time. Well, he said, Since nobody knows anything you might as well join us Cloud said now lets keep moving towards that smoke and hope somebody there knows somthing he said. Leading the new group on.
Cloud looked at the Two others and said to the newcomer, This is Zelda im Cloud. Now we had better do inventory. Have either of you got any weapons or anything?
Well it looked like I was going to have to cooperate with them. I had a feeling I would be able to trust them. "I'm Citan. I don't have weapons with me, but my fists will serve well enough...and I can also take care of any injuries that might come up."
The sun was beginning to slowly settle down onto the edge of the horizon staining the evening sky with brilliant hues of red.
"We had best get a move on. It will be dark soon, and it may not be safe to travel then."
Sorry, I've been REALLY busy with work and school as of late...
IC:
Rose watched as the man she had been tracking approached Zelda and Cloud. Carefully her eyes recorded his every movement; she couldn't be sure if he was planning an attack against them. After Cloud seemed to accept him into the group, Rose decided it was no longer her concern.
Stepping back into the forest, Rose resumed hacking away at the foliage to clear herself a path.
[There must be someone out here that knows something about this place...]
Suddenly Rose spied a young male - assumably in his early twenties - wandering aimlessly about in the forest.
[He appears to be lost...]
Silently Rose crept behind the spikey-haired man, her sword held in hand with caution. Unexpectly, her foot fell upon a twig, snapping it at a volume that seemed deafening to her own ears. The male began to turn, and instinctively, Rose darted towards him, taking his arms behind his back and placing her free arm across his throat -- in this case, it was her blade across his flesh.
He slammed his elbow back into her gut, cutting his own skin against her rough armor. But with the blow being as surprising as it was to Rose, Zell was able to grab her by the back of her neck and force her into a front flip. She landed hard on her back before him.
Her sword a few feet from her hand, Rose looked up at Zell from her position. He looked like he was pissed enough at her little attack that he was going to crush her head.
She had to respect his strength; no one had been able to counter-attack her like that before.
Rose rolled quickly to her side, grabbing her sword and flipping back to her feet. She held her blade pointed at Zell defensively. "Who are you?" she asked, in a haughty tone, as if she owned the forest he stood in.
Seems like this thread is dying off... Anyone care to attempt reviving it? I hate to double-post...and carrying on anymore action with Rose would be impossible at the point she's at.
OOC: it would be diassapoitnign if it died off. I'm still here, i've just been a little busy, that's all. But i'm gonna wait to see if anyone else posts before posting myself. . .
OOC: Muahaha, fear me, the scourge of the SRPG'ing world.. *Winks at those who know of him* I'll help get things re-started, I guess. I'd like to choose.. Ashley Riot, from Vagrant Story..
IC: The world seemed to tilt around Ashley, one moment he was locked in a fierce duel with Rosenkratz, and the other he had landed on his back somewhere near a tree. He heard the noises of fighting nearby and quickly sprung to his feet, drawing a Wakizashi sword and Dread Shield swiftly, his eyes scanning the nearby area. "A... Forest?" Was his absent whisper as he was greeted by trees, grass, foliage, green everywhere. He held the sword using only his little finger, the rings for each finger to fit into offering a means of holding the sword while swatting a fierce looking insect from his face. His head swam and he stumbled a few paces forward, shaking his head against the dizziness and disorientation that even his sight caused. "Ohhhh..." Ashley groaned, his senses finally coming back to him. He slid his fingers back through each ring, gripping the sword tightly and creeping towards the sounds of battle, to find a woman in strange armour, along with a man in equally unusual clothing. They looked to be fighting, and Ashley was sorely tempted to create a Flame Sphere between them, if only to dissuade the battle..
Again he stumbled, only this time, into the view of both fighters. His eyes locked onto them both in turn, he slid his sword into an ornate scabbard as a show of trust, then looked back at them. "If either of you know where this is, I'd appreciate some help.."
"So Zelda," Citan asked, "where are you from? We might as well find something to talk about until we get there."
"Where am i from?" she laughed. her fingers brushed against his arm. Suddenly, she was dizzy, and stumbled slightly to the side. She tripped and fell, rolling a short way down a hill. She hadn't noticed that they were walking on a hill. She tried to stand. There was a blinding flash of pain in her ankle. she fell back down. "Dammit" she swore under her breath.
OOC: I'm afraid that, for medical purposes, I have to stay at hospital for an unknown length of time. I can hope for sometime next week, Friday at the latest. I'm sorry for this inconvenience.
