Hi Everyone! I'm gonna give this story another shot. Here we go!

OOC:
Annie Reese is the youngest of four with three older brothers, all of whom are extremely protective of her. Grayson St. James is the best friend of her oldest brother, Derek, and Annie has known him her whole life. He is practically a member of the family and has always treated Annie like a little sister. In many ways Annie is closer to him than she is to any of her brothers.

Now a freshman in college, Annie's decided that the time has come to lose her virginity. She's tired of being treated like a little girl and she can no longer ignore the repressed passion built up inside her.

One night, while out at a bar, Grayson bumps into Annie and notices the change in her. Her unabashed curiosity and unfaltering boldness set off all of his protective instincts and make it impossible for him to ignore the feelings for her he's been fighting for years. Feeling protective and possessive, he decides to do whatever he has to to keep her from going to bed with another man.

Annie Wilde
19
5'4
Petite, 110lbs
Very petite, slim, delicate features
Ivory skin, rosy pink cheeks, long, curly brown hair, bright blue eyes, freckles
Very sweet, innocent, inexperienced. A virgin, never been kissed. She looks like an innocent angel, ethereal, delicate. Yet, her bedroom eyes hold a strong sensual appeal. Having spent her entire life sheltered from the intimate ways of men and women, she remains ignorant of the dark, animalistic desires her fragile beauty inspires in the men around her.

Grayson St. James
26
6"1, 190lbs, toned, athletic
Lightly tanned skin, dark brown eyes, short brown hair and strong jaw
He's a good man: hard working, loyal, and principled. He's very much the home grown, all American, small town boy who has been chased by women since he hit puberty. He loves women and he loves sex, but he's never been in love, choosing instead to sate his needs with women who knew the score. He feels really guilty for being attracted to Annie and he tries to fight his feelings for her.

And here we go!
IC:

Annie sighed as she looked at herself in mirror that made up the wall behind the bar. She let her eyes travel from her mass of curly brunette hair to the faint freckles scattered across her cheeks to the ivory cocktail dress that clung to her curves like nothing else she had ever worn. Her cheeks burned as she thought of people looking at her in the dress. She bit her lip and cast her eyes around the room, wishing she had worn something a little less daring.

Correction, she thought to herself, The dress is perfect. You've just been a prude for so long you can't handle it.

That was going to change tonight. She'd decided to lose her virginity, and she wanted it to happen immediately.

She drew in a deep breath, the air feeling heavy in her lungs, and took a seat at the bar. She'd been told by friends--all of whom were more experienced than she--that all she'd have to do is sit alone and guys would approach her. The process seemed a bit artificial to her--forced--and a knot formed in her stomach. Was this really how she wanted this to happen?

No. But she DID want it to happen. Desperately. And this was the only way.

Suddenly feeling uncomfortable and exposed at the bar, Annie darted another nervous glance around the room, only to find someone was watching her. He was about her age and extremely attractive, and everything in his posture screamed that he knew it. Seeing her opportunity and knowing she should take it, she met his eyes and sent him a shy smile.

At that small gesture, he rose from his seat and left his group of friends behind, gracefully sliding into place beside her.

"Hi, Gorgeous," he said in a deep, smooth voice, accompanied by a seductive, confident smile. Naive as she was, she didn't recognize the intense, predatory nature of his approach and wasn't prepared to protect herself from creeps. His green eyes captured Annie's and she couldn't look away, sensing the impending decision she would have to make.

Summoning calm, she let a slow, knowing--albeit artificially so--smile grace her features and said hello.

With few words, he drew her onto the dance floor with him and let his hands slide low on her hips, pulling them tight against his. Forcing down her discomfort, Annie let her body rest flush against his and swayed to the music. Every cell in her body objected to this man's touch but she refused to acknowledge her feelings as legitimate. She would get used to it, she was sure.

She had to.

She focused on the beat and tried to ignore her nerves, not sensing the gaze--slowly changing from concerned to enraged--that had been locked on her since she walked into the bar.

Grayson St. James was out on the prowl. He hadn't been laid in a week and that was approaching a record for the athletic track star. Fucking pathetic bro. You really need to step up your game. Two bars already tonight and no bites except from wasters...

Deciding for a change of tactics, Grayson made his way to one of his 'sure thing' spots, slightly farther away from his place than he usually liked but the talent was usually there and he hadn't failed to score a single time he had been.

Grayson scanned the bar as he walked through the club, looking for something he might like to take home and drawing a bit of a blank even as he got up to the bar. Oh well, there's always the dance floor. Guess it woulda been a bit TOO lucky to find someone right away. Gray ordered his customary JD/Coke and let his eyes rove the dance floor. His eyes were immediately drawn to a cute little thing in a form fitting ivory dress dancing with some chump. She looked extremely delicate but had nice, tight features and he loved the way her long, curly hair contrasted with her dress as it cascaded around her back while she danced. Yep, I think she'll do just fine...

Grayson took a break from the scenery to pay for his drink that the bartender had slid over to him. He took a refreshing sip, already slightly tipsy from the few bars that he had already been to and returned his gaze to the dance floor trying to hunt out the pretty little brunette he had seen earlier. It took a little while to find her in the crowd and he was pleased to see that she had turned around. Great, now I can get a view of her fa.... What the fuck? Grayson was forced to do a double take. Looking back he still didn't believe what he saw. The hottie in the form fitting dress was sweet little Annie Wilde. Grayson had never seen Annie is anything more revealing than an over sized t-shirt and was literally shocked. No way is my little Annie going to get frisky with THAT chump. No fucking way. Not on my watch.

Grayson jumped up from the bar suddenly, forgetting his drink and made his way over to the couple on the dance floor. She does have a sexy little ass though... And that dress.. STOP IT, she's like your sister... Finally getting up behind the guy, he tapped him firmly on the shoulder, his athletic frame towering over the young man. "I'm going to give you one chance to get the fuck out of here buddy. That's my sister and she's 15." The combination of Grayson's towering frame and the sudden (misguided) knowledge that he could very well have ended up in jail had an immediate effect. The man plain BOLTED out of the club, leaving Grayson alone with Annie. He looked down at the sexy young girl, disappointment written all over his face She must have had WAAAY too much to drink. Thats the only excuse for this. before placing his arm on Annie's back and trying to lead her towards a corner of the club. "Come on sis, lets get you out of here. You're OK now." He said, trying to comfort what he thought would be a near comatose Annie.

The shots Annie had taken earlier to calm her nerves were finally kicking in and she could feel the tension leaving her body. She was still nervous, but the feeling had changed from one of fear to anxious excitement. Her dance partner--Rick or Rich, she wasn't quite sure--had pulled her body flush against his and with every move she made she could feel his leg slipping further between her own and his hard chest teasing her nipples. She'd been dying to be touched for so long that even the smallest touch made her stomach clench and her breath catch in her throat.

Look at yourself her conscience shouted at her How did you become so desperate?

She squashed down the doubt that had been clawing at her--the knowledge that she wasn't the kind of person who could treat sex casually, especially her first time--and focused on mimicking the moves of a skilled seductress. She felt like a kid playing dress up--a little girl wearing a pretty dress and her mother's lipstick, pretending to be all grown up.

You're not ready. You don't want to do this.

You don't want to do this.

It became like a mantra, playing over and over in her mind. Stubborn as ever, though, she ignored the taunting voice and deliberately rolled her hips against the man in her arms. She was never one to back down from a challenge.

Her partner--Rick--responded by groaning and dropping his head to press his lips into her neck, kissing and sucking lightly before scraping his teeth over the tender area at the base of her neck.

It was then that she felt him being yanked away from her and dragged out of reach. The second she heard Grayson's voice she felt her fantasy slip out of reach and the walls of the bar begin to close in. "I'm going to give you one chance to get the fuck out of here buddy. That's my sister and she's 15."

Fury and indignation exploded in Annie's chest. She was so mad she didn't even notice Rick racing away like he was being chased. Unable to find words to express her anger, she could only follow dumbly as Grayson wrapped an arm around her and pulled her off the dance floor.

"Come on sis, lets get you out of here. You're OK now." His words seemed to bring her back to earth, and she immediately stopped in her tracks, wrenching her arm out of Grayson's grasp.

"What the HELL was that?" she shouted, demanding an explanation for his interference. Annie wasn't really one for making a scene, or conflict at all, for that matter, but Grayson's high handed behavior set her off, and she couldn't keep the anger out of her voice or wait to talk to him somewhere more private.

Grayson was feeling quite pleased with himself as he started to lead Annie away from the dance floor. Thank god I saw her. There is no way that guy would have let her out of his hands with her looking as hot as she is. His anger had help him to forget that he was lusting after a girl he had always thought of as his baby sister before jumping into action.

Grayson was planning on the best way to get what he still thought was a blind drunk Annie home when he felt resistance against his arm. Turning around slightly confused, he was surprised to see that Annie had decided to stop in the middle of the hall way. When he took a first look into the young girl's eyes he immediately noticed that she wasn't actually anywhere near as drunk as he had thought. Then why was... "What the HELL was that?" Annie shouted at him, glaring daggers at him. Annie never shouts.... what is this about?

The outburst from Annie shocked him even further, he looked over dumbstruck at the scantily dressed girl in front on him. "Wha...uhm...I-I wa.." Grayson started, still in shock with the whole situation. The realization that Annie was not drunk sparking an anger inside him. "We need to talk." He said, much more sure of himself now and he dragged Annie over to a private booth at the side of the club.

Grayson sat down and scooted over to make room for Annie next to him. "What are you doing here dressed like that and why were you rubbing yourself all over that man! I thought you were drunk and he was taking advantage of you! Explain yourself!" He fumed, his protective instincts taking over as he started to grill the angry girl next to him.

"We need to talk."

You're damn right we do. Annie kept the thought to herself, but her feelings were written all over her expressive face. She was furious, and she wasn't going to back down easily.

Grayson's surprise at her defiance was understandable--even when she fought with her brothers, she and Grayson rarely disagreed. It was as if they intuitively understood each other, even from a very early age, and one was always willing to defend the other. It was usually Grayson telling her brothers to back off when their teasing went a little too far, or making sure he was around when he could tell she was upset, in case she wanted to talk. Annie did her part too, though, and never hesitated to confront someone who was bad-mouthing him. One of Derek's favorite stories is of when Annie--who was 8 years old at the time--over heard one of Grayson's ex-girlfriends talking crap about him. She walked over to the girl, tugged on the hem of her jacket to get her attention, and told her--quite plainly--to stuff it.

She wasn't feeling quite so loyal now, though.

Grayson lowed himself into a booth and pulled her down next to him. She again pulled her arm out of his grasp to let him know his manhandling wasn't appreciated. "What are you doing here dressed like that and why were you rubbing yourself all over that man!

"I was not RUBBING myself all over him!" she inturrupted, but he kept talking as if she hadn't said a thing.

I thought you were drunk and he was taking advantage of you! Explain yourself!"

The judgment in his voice made her wince visibly even though anger still glowed in her eyes. He thought she looked like a slut. He probably thought she was acting like one, too. Shame was burning a hole in her stomach, but somehow it only contributed to her anger.

"I don't have to explain myself, Grayson! Despite what you may think, or want to believe, I'm not 15 anymore." She loved him for wanting to protect her, she really did, but it killed her to know that he still thought of her as a little girl--like a sister--when she thought so much more of him. She'd loved him for so long she couldn't remember not loving him. Not wanting to be with him. Her heart broke every time she looked at him, aching with the knowledge that he'll never think of her as more than a friend--as Derek's little sister. She wasn't his sister, though, and she hated him for not realizing it.

"And I'm definitely not your sister!" That's what hurt the most, she thought. Having the fact that he thought of her as a sister thrown so rudely and unexpectedly in her face. She couldn't help the hurt, almost helpless look that filled her eyes as she looked up at him.

Annie further illustrated her anger at Grayson's treatment of her as soon as they sat down. The indignant young girl pulled her hands away from her brother's best friend and glared over at him. "I don't have to explain myself, Grayson! Despite what you may think, or want to believe, I'm not 15 anymore."

Grayson looked hurt. Wow, all I was trying to do was help her. I saw and thought she was in trouble. Don't I deserve a little thanks? Oh well, she's still young. She will thank me later. Grayson was just about recovering from her first outburst, rationalizing that deep down she really wanted help from somebody that cared about her even though her hormone crazed mind didn't think so at the moment. I guess she IS growing up, I mean I thought she was a sexy score for the night before I saw her face. Until I saw it was my Annie....

"You're ri..." His start at some middle ground was cut off by the most hurtful thing he thought he could ever hear from the freckled brunette. "And I'm definitely not your sister!" Grayson immediately buried his head in his hands, having to work overtime to hold back tears. Does she really think that? After all we've been through? Is she just saying that because she knows it will hurt me?"

Grayson slowly brought his head up, the beginnings of tears in his dark brown eyes. "Don't say that." He said, hurt dripping from his voice as he reached over and pulled Annie's hands into his own, resting them on the table and looking deeply into her blue eyes. "How many of your birthdays have I missed Annie? How many times have I babysat you? Have many times have I cleaned you up after you fell down and scraped yourself? Who was there when you felt too embarrassed to talk to Derek about the boys teasing you about your braces? Who would you call if you were stuck and needed help late at night?" Grayson felt a single tear roll down his left cheek as he emptied his heart out to the confused girl next to him. God, I haven't cried since the third fucking grade. "I love you Annie, You are my sister weather you like it or not and I will always be there for you." He said sincerely, his eyes not having left hers the whole time.

"Now, I'm really sorry for the way I broke up your dance, but I was so shocked seeing you dressed like that all over that dirty man. You have always been so sweet Annnie, I would hate to see you turn into one of those girls." Grayson said, his anger gone but still feeling the hurt of her earlier comments. He had conveniently forgotten that the reason he was in the club in the first place was to look for one of 'those girls' and Annie had been the best looking of the lot!

”And I’m definitely not your sister!

Annie regretted the words the moment she said them, feeling her mouth drop open in shock at their unintended cruelty. Her anger fled in an instant, replaced by guilt and regret for letting her silly, selfish crush cause her to hurt someone so important to her. She hadn’t meant to imply that she didn’t love him, not at all! That was the problem.

Her eyes filled with regret, she placed a hand on his arm and started to apologize. “Gray, I’m sor…”

His head was bent, though, and he didn’t seem to hear her, speaking before she could finish. "Don't say that." He lifted his head and locked eyes with her, and the pain there broke her heart. She hated herself in that moment and would have done anything to make Grayson feel better—to make sure he never looked at her that way again. He had done so much for her, had always been there when she needed him, and here she was letting a silly crush come between them.

God, he deserves so much better.

Not realizing his point had already more than hit home, Grayson continued. "How many of your birthdays have I missed Annie? How many times have I babysat you? Have many times have I cleaned you up after you fell down and scraped yourself? Who was there when you felt too embarrassed to talk to Derek about the boys teasing you about your braces? Who would you call if you were stuck and needed help late at night? I love you Annie, You are my sister weather you like it or not and I will always be there for you."

Her eyes welled with tears and she had to fight to keep them locked on his. This is what you get for wanting what you can’t have. God, I have to get over him.

”Now, I'm really sorry for the way I broke up your dance, but I was so shocked seeing you dressed like that all over that dirty man. You have always been so sweet Annie, I would hate to see you turn into one of those girls."

“Stop,” she managed to choke out, feeling like she couldn’t take anymore. “Please, stop, Grayson.” She clutched his hand, feeling his warmth, and slid closer to him so that she could bury her face in the crook of his neck. “I’m sorry; I didn’t mean it.” The small, meek sound of her voice let him know she was telling the truth. “I love you, Gray. You have to know that!”

She stayed quiet for a few minutes, just enjoying listening to his heart beat and the feel of his arms around her. Finally, she decided it would be best to just tell him the truth, tell him why she came to the bar that night. She’d felt like she’d lost him for those few minutes, and now the last thing she wanted to do was keep something from him.

Keeping her head buried in his chest, she spoke quietly.“It’s just… I’m not a little girl anymore, ya know? That guy?” a grunt let her know he knew who she was talking about, “I wanted to go home with him.” That last part came out in a near whisper. She felt him stiffen and went on before he could interrupt. “I’ve just waited for so long and I can’t take it anymore! I’m going crazy, Grayson! I wanted tonight to be… you know.” The Night.

Again continuing before he could speak, she went on. “And then you showed up and told him I’m your 15 year old sister! It was just a reminder of what a little kid you think I am…” What a stupid little kid…

Grayson's words had a catastrophic effect. Annie's expression changed from anger, to hurt, to love as he continued to talk through her protests. “Stop,” She choked out, biting back tears of her own as she looked up at him with her enticing bright blue eyes. God she's beautiful. “Please, stop, Grayson.” The sincerity of her words and the look of hurt and love in her eyes stopping the older man dead as she lent in towards him, burying herself in his neck. Grayson's arms instinctively wrapped around the vulnerable young girl and pulled her tight into him, one hand stroking her soft brown hair while the other just held her protectively. “I’m sorry; I didn’t mean it. I love you, Gray. You have to know that!” She said softly as Grayson felt a tear drop into his shoulder.

"Its OK sweetie. Of course I know. I'm here for you now." Grayson soothed as he held the beautiful brunette in his strong, muscular arms. As the time went by, Grayson started to notice more and more of the beautiful Annie. Her hair smelled lovely right under his nose and he couldn't help but feel the firmness of her young breasts pressed up against him as he held her in a vice grip. He had never noticed how soft her skin was as the hand holding her to him began caressing the bare skin of her back that was exposed by the lovely white dress she wore.

Grayson let out a grunt when Annie began to speak about the man who she was sided up with when he saw her. He was in big brother mode and from his experience it was best to just listen and let Annie get things off her chest. That plan went to shit with her next comment “I wanted to go home with him.” What.The.Fuck. This is Annie here, why would she be slutting herself out with random guys, especially Scummy ones. If Grayson were to think objectively about it, the guy wasn't really that scummy. Anybody he saw dancing with Annie would be 'scummy' in his book. Just when he was about to respond, Annie continued. “I’ve just waited for so long and I can’t take it anymore! I’m going crazy, Grayson! I wanted tonight to be… you know. The Night. Grayson almost choked with that comment. My god. I didn't think Annie even had those feelings, she's always been so sweet and innocent. Involved in books instead of men... “And then you showed up and told him I’m your 15 year old sister! It was just a reminder of what a little kid you think I am…”

Grayson was in shock as he held the petite girl too tightly against him as if holding her tightly would stop her growing up. Taking far too long to recover from what he said and finally being able to put his thoughts together, he let go of Annie slightly, his hands resting on her shoulders and pulling her away so he could look down into her eyes. "God Annie." He started lovingly. "I know you aren't a little kid anymore. I don't think I even realized it until tonight when I saw you in that dress." He whispered out, emotion dripping from his voice as he paused and looked deeply into Annie's bright blue eyes. "You are the most beautiful girl I have ever met. I love you so much I would just hate to see you hurt. You are smart, caring, beautiful and if you dress like that, sexier than any woman I've ever met." Grayson said sincerly. She really is something. Any man would KILL to be with her. "There is no need to rush yourself baby. You have all the time in the world. You should be looking for a lawyer or a doctor or somebody to love you like you deserve, not some guy in a nightclub." Any I should be looking for someone like you, not some skank in a nightclub... STOP, she's your baby sister. Get a hold of yourself. Grayson let his hand trail up Annie's softly freckled face, brushing a stray lock of hair away from her eyes for her. "God, I love your freckles" He husked out lustfully, before he could stop himself.

Annie quietly thrilled as Grayson clutched her to his chest--relief, love, and a sense of peace racing through her as she was quickly reminded that it would take a lot more than harsh words to drive him away.

Like her love…?

She shook off the thought and pulled herself even closer to him, refusing to let anything disrupt the sense of peace that had settled over them. As his grip tightened on her, she lifted her head from his chest to nuzzle into the crook of his neck. His scent flooded her senses Clean. Manly. and she let out a pleased—almost hedonistic—sigh, before she could stop herself.

The sound seemed to spur Grayson into action, causing him to loosen his grip on her and lean back so he could meet her eyes. ” God Annie. I know you aren't a little kid anymore. I don't think I even realized it until tonight when I saw you in that dress." He’d noticed the dress? "You are the most beautiful girl I have ever met. I love you so much,” Stop there, stop there! her mind screamed, but he continued without pause, ”I would just hate to see you hurt. You are smart, caring, beautiful and if you dress like that, sexier than any woman I've ever met.” Sexy? She felt her gut clench, but forced herself not to react. ”There is no need to rush yourself baby. You have all the time in the world. You should be looking for a lawyer or a doctor or somebody to love you like you deserve, not some guy in a nightclub."

His words warmed her heart, causing another wave of love for him wash over her. I don’t want a doctor! she wanted to shout. Does it even matter who it is if it isn’t you?

He brushed a loose strand of hair behind her ear and stroked his thumb lovingly over her cheek. "God, I love your freckles" he rasped, his voice heavy with… lust? A chill ran up her spine and her breathing became a bit heavier. Couldn’t be. But he sounded just like she always imagined he would when she’d dreamed of him telling her how much he wanted her. Her eyes dropped to his lips and unconsciously she licked her own. In that moment, she’d have done anything for him to kiss her, just once. She knew that once wouldn’t be enough, though. He was dangerous. She could so easily become addicted.

Blushing at the direction of her thoughts, she dropped her gaze for a moment in embarrassment. Shaking off her lustfull thoughts, she licked her lips then tugged the bottom one between her teeth—a habit she’d had since she was little. Then, still flushing pink, she raised her head and gave him a shy, dazzling smile that reached all the way to her eyes. They glowed with pleasure and affection and when she finally began to feel shy, she grinned sheepishly and ducked her head back into the crook of his neck, nuzzling in and reclaiming her spot there. She never had been any good at taking a compliment.

Feeling herself relax, she tried to ignore the voice in the back of her head saying ”Remember: That’s all it was.”

Grayson felt Annie shiver slightly in his arms as she stared back at him lovingly. He saw Annie's tongue slide slowly across her lips as she seemed to lock her gaze on his own. Wow, she really is beautiful. Grayson thought about leaning in to kiss the inviting lips of the stunning brunette but changed his mind at the last minute. She's just confused, I would freak her out even more if I kissed her.... What are you even thinking that for, she's like a sister to you. Get your hormones in check bro.

He almost lost it when Annie bit her bottom lip and looked up at him, her cheeks even rosier than normal. Seductively? No, thats embarrassment. The smile that flashed across her face was electrifying and Grayson felt it all over his body before she lent back into his neck and cuddled into him again.

Grayson was lost in the moment, simply enjoying the feel of Annie pressed up against him as he comfortingly stroked her back. He was broken out of his mood abruptly when one the regulars he knew here walked past. "Wow, Grayson. She's even better than the one you pulled last week. When are you going to give the rest of us a chance?" The guy joked, quickly making an exit when he caught the look that Grayson sent back at him.

Grayson caught Annie looking up at him, clearly having heard the comment from the passing guys and immediately felt like shit. Why do I feel so bad about Annie knowing I come here to pick up girls? Grayson gave Annie an apologetic look and lent down to kiss her forehead. "Sorry about that." He whispered. "It's been a bit of a tiring night, lets get out of here." He said, trying to change the subject as quickly as possible and raising himself out of the booth. He led Annie out of the club and hailed a cab for both of them. "Take us to the campus" He said to the driver before turning to Annie. "I want to make sure you get back OK before I head back myself. We can't have you walking home alone in that dress." He said, unable to stop himself from grinning slightly. That dress. WOW. Yea, I'd better make sure she gets back OK, this time of night, you never know WHAT could happen to a young girl by herself...

Annie went still at the passing guy’s comment. She didn’t stiffen completely--she didn’t want to completely ruin the moment--but she was no longer letting her body completely melt against Grayson’s. She knew he dated a lot (a lot) and was generally recognized as a somewhat legendary seducer, but she was never quite comfortable having that fact thrown in her face. He had always shielded her from that part of his life, and she’d preferred to remain blissfully ignorant. If she thought too much about his rumored prowess she became both jealous and overwhelming aroused. Inexperienced as she was, she could only wonder what he did with these women—what she wished he’d do to her. Try as she might, she could never push her fantasy beyond romantic moments and simple, traditional sex into the wilder activities she instinctively knew he engaged in. She yearned to know, though, and felt herself reaching for it—just out of her reach—every time she lost herself in a fantasy.

She knew he could teach her. That he could finally satisfy her desperate curiosity.

If she was honest with herself, she would admit that her curiosity—paired with the restless, physical yearning inside her—was what had ultimately driven her to come here tonight. She wanted to know just what it was she was craving, just what it was Grayson did to these women that had them falling at his feet. She had to know, even if it wasn’t him who showed her.

Breaking her out of her reverie, Grayson suggested they head home. She hesitated—remembering she hadn’t accomplished her goal for the night—but knew that she wouldn’t be able to go through with it now. Not when she’d just felt Grayson’s strong arms around her and heard him speak some of the sweetest words she’d ever heard. The thought made her sick.

She took his hand and let him lead her out of the bar and into a waiting taxi. How many times have you imagined this? Meeting him out somewhere and having him whisk you back to his place. Into his bed. Too many times to count. She dreamed of the day he would be as desperate to have her as she was to have him.

Sliding into the cab, she didn’t notice her dress slipping up high on her thighs. She never wore clothes this revealing and was completely unused to having to check and make sure she remained decent. She crossed her legs and leaned against Grayson’s side, shivering slightly in the cool night air. "Take us to the campus" He said to the driver before turning to look at her. She felt a tiny wave of disappointment wash over her. She had imagined them heading back to her family’s house, where she always felt so comforted by memories of her childhood. Playing with the boys in the backyard, always having one of them to tend to her whenever she fell down or cut herself while following them on one of their adventures. Back then, their protectiveness had never felt oppressive, only loving. She knew the house would be empty—her brothers all had their own places and her parents… well, they’d been gone for a long time. "I want to make sure you get back OK before I head back myself. We can't have you walking home alone in that dress." Heat exploded in her cheeks at his sly grin and she finally moved to tug the dress lower on her thighs.

Grinning sheepishly, she chuckled and peeked up at him. “It is a bit much, isn’t it? It didn’t seem quite so… small on the mannequin.” She felt him trying to suppress a laugh next to her and gently elbowed him in the side. “Brat…” she muttered, trying to suppress her own smile.

As they neared the campus, which wasn’t far from the Wilde house, she spoke. “I think I’d rather go home actually. Casey was having a party and I… well, I told her I’d be out for the night,” she said, referring to her roommate and her foiled plans to spend the night with a stranger. She tried to keep her tone even, but it still came out apologetic. You don’t need to apologize. He’s not yours. He doesn’t belong to you.

Grayson couldn't help stealing glances down at Annie's legs as they made their way back to the campus in the cab. Her dress had ridden up a LONG way up her tight thighs and her legs just seemed to go on for ever. I wonder if she even realizes what she is showing... “It is a bit much, isn’t it? It didn’t seem quite so… small on the mannequin.” Annie's shy comment caused Grayson flashed the petite brunette a shit-eating grin. "That dress is MEANT to be that small Annie." He replied, his grin widening. "Perhaps you should try things on before you buy them!" He continued jokingly. “Brat…” Came the playful reply accompanied by a jab to his side. Grayson huddled over in mock pain grabbing his side "Oh, IT HURTS! IT HURTS!" He teased as they neared the school campus.

“I think I’d rather go home actually. Casey was having a party and I… well, I told her I’d be out for the night,” Grayson couldn't stop the look of disapproval that flashed across his face. What was she thinking! She could have got picked up by ANYBODY. He had to fight hard to bite back a reply but simply grunted the new instructions to the taxi driver. We've already been over this I guess, lets let it rest for now... It wasn't far from the campus to the Wilde home and the rest of the journey went by in a semi-uncomfortable silence. When they got outside, Grayson turned to Annie, concern radiating from him as he pulled her into him and kissed the soft skin of her forehead. "Be careful Annie," He said. "As much as I'd like to be there to protect you all the time, you said it yourself, you're growing up. Just.....Don't grow up too fast OK?"

Grayson waited inside the cab to make sure the stunning girl got inside without any problems, watching intently as her tight little ass swayed away from him. God, I really need to get laid... I've been thinking of Annie all night. ANNIE! "That's one hot piece off ass" The driver commented. He clearly hadn't being paying attention to the conversation. Too busy checking her out in the rear view mirror. Fucking perve. Grayson shot daggers at the man in response. "You just lost your tip buddy." There was no more conversation as the taxi driver took off the short distance to Grayson's apartment.

When he got in, Grayson found himself unusually tired. Emotional turmoil really takes it out of you... He thought as he threw off his clothes and lay down on top of his sheets in his boxers. She really is growing up though. I just hope she doesn't do anything stupid.... His last thoughts were of Annie as he drifted off to sleep.

Aaaand... Good MORNING. Today is meant to be sunny with a high of 76 deg... Grayson's right arm went flying out to turn off his alarm as he groaned and sat up. Thursdays.... I HATE fucking Thursdays. Grayson was quick to get ready for work, throwing his running gear in the back of his car before making his way down to the track.

Thursday was commonly referred to as 'Kids Day' at the Athletics Specialist Center Grayson worked at. I don't know why they even bother giving me these youngsters... Their running style is going to change so much once they hit puberty that everything I teach them will have to be retaught anyway... Grayson got changed quickly once he arrived, sharing his pains with some of his colleagues as he headed to the gym to meet what his contractor called the 'Running stars of the future." Yea Right... It wasn't that he hated his job, in fact it was a dream job for him. Coaching professional sprinters and helping them prepare for world events fit perfectly with his own sprinting history and degree in Kinetics, he just thought that his skills were wasted on the kids.

The morning was expectedly slow going and Grayson was overjoyed when his lunch hour finally arrived. Deciding to take a quick sandwich and give his best friend Derek a ring, he found a secluded table in the luxury cafeteria the ASC had. Grayson was pleased when Derek picked up almost right away. Yea, thought it had been a while!... Ahh, you know Thursdays, my favorites...Yea, saw your sis out last night.... She was at Passion...I know right, she was the last person I expected to see trying to score...Na, I struck out again. On a seriously bad run...Na I'm blaming last night on the babysitting... Hey, a weeks is a long time for SOME of us...Yea, the game on Saturday sounds great...I can't believe you're still living there you cheapskate!... Alright man, I'll bring the beers but there'd BETTER be some serious food.... Yea, see you then bro. Grayson hung up, glad to have something prearranged for the weekend. Maybe I can convince him to come out on the pull with me after....Don't think we've ever BOTH struck out on the same night. His thoughts were firmly centered around his weekend as the day wore on...

Annie wished she could take back her comment when she saw the change that came over Grayson’s face. His gentle teasing and sly grin were replaced with a look of censure and… disappointment? God, she hoped not. She’d spent her life tying to be the perfect sister, the perfect daughter, the perfect student… The fear of disappointing someone she loved ate at her. She knew her need to please probably wasn’t healthy—hell, repressing her urges and trying to remain the sweet little innocent everyone seemed to want her to be was part of what had driven her to the point of wanting to go home with a stranger. It would have been easier to let loose and give her virginity to someone who didn’t expect her to be perfect. Someone she didn’t have to pretend for…

She was only seven years old when her mother passed away, which was when everything in her life seemed to change. Not only was she left without a mother, in the care of four men, but the household was in such turmoil that she’d taken on the role of peace-keeper. She’d also made herself as unobtrusive as possible, taking care of herself as much as she could so she could avoid making demands on her already overwhelmed father. In the eyes of her family (especially her father), she’d somehow become a substitute for her mother—a perfect manifestation of femininity, innocence, and purity. She sensed they needed her in this role, and she fulfilled it as best she could. It became second nature to her. Throughout all of that, Grayson had been her main source of comfort and support. Her brothers had found it difficult to be around her too much—she reminded them so much of their mother—and her father had been in no shape to take care of anyone but himself. Grayson had sensed how alone she was, and always made sure to check in on her and offer her a shoulder to cry on. Looking back, that was probably when she fell in love with him.

She and Grayson emerged from the cab when it pulled up to the Wilde house. He quickly pulled her into his arms and held her tight, speaking quietly, "Be careful Annie. As much as I'd like to be there to protect you all the time, you said it yourself, you're growing up. Just.....Don't grow up too fast OK?" He leaned down and pressed a soft kiss into her forehead. The small touch sent a jolt of electricity throughout her body and her eyes instinctively fluttered closed. She took a moment to savor the feeling before going up on her toes to press a soft kiss on his cheek, lingering just a second more than was necessary. She looked up into his eyes, love and sincerity shining in her own, and gave him a small, almost sad smile.

“I won’t. I promise.” With that same smile, she turned and walked into the house, closing the door firmly behind her. A wave of exhaustion hit her and she headed straight to her childhood bedroom. She kicked off her heels and unzipped her dress, gracefully stepping out of it and draping it across the back of a chair. I’ll deal with it tomorrow. God, I feel like I’ve been hit by a bus. She quickly tugged on a pair of boy-shorts and an over-sized t-shirt she'd stolen from Derek ages ago, then ran her fingers through her long hair. She caught her reflection in the mirror and grimaced slightly, thinking she looked horrible. Her hair was tousled, her cheeks were flushed, and her lip-gloss had disappeared long ago. She didn’t realize it, but she looked like she'd thoroughly accomplished her goal for the night.

Her limbs feeling heavy, she quickly slid under the covers in her queen sized bed. She shifted until she got comfortable, then quickly drifted off to sleep, the sound of Grayson's voice saying "God, I love your freckles" playing in the back of her mind.

---------------------------------------- NEXT DAY

She was woken the next morning by the sound of birds chirping outside her window. Groaning quietly, she rolled over and buried her face in a pillow, remaining that way for a few minutes. When she knew she wasn’t going to fall back asleep, she grudgingly got out of bed and made her way downstairs to the kitchen. She didn’t bother getting dressed—It’s MY house, after all.

“So I heard you had quite the night last night.” She jumped at the sound and whipped around to face her brother Derek. Christ! She hadn’t known he was there. Faced with his half accusing, half amused gaze, she turned back to finish her search of the cabinets. Don’t react. He doesn’t know. He can’t.”[

“I don’t know what you’re talking about” she replied, trying to remain as composed as possible. She would not feel guilty. She hadn’t done anything wrong. He’s probably talking about something else, anyway. Grayson wouldn’t tell him about something that personal…

“So it wasn’t you, then? Tossing back shots at Passion?”

“Nope,” she replied casually, but with a sense of finality, and went back to making her sandwich. She heard Derek murmur an unconvinced “mmhmm” as he slowly turned and walked away. He knew he wouldn’t get anywhere with her when she was being this stubborn.

When she sensed she was alone in the room, she finally let her anger take over. She tightened her jaw and gripped the knife she held a little too tightly.

I’m going to KILL him…
