The icing on the cake is the person that told me reckons the admins at the other site are arseholes, and that if I contact them asking for them to be removed, he thinks they may well post them in lots of other places instead. So I'm not sure whether to contact them or not.

Thing is, I was having fun here and have 'met' a lot of great people...but this just kinda leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth, know what I mean?

Hey Sns, I am sorry this happened to you. I know of another circumstance where this happened and it was enough to make the woman stop posting. I think it is a shame people don't have the consideration for others that they should, this is intolerable!!! Something needs to be done, but what I am not sure!
