I wish I could get the warm tones I used to. This place just pisses me off more and more.

Beautiful my dear.

Warm tones are the function of white balance. Balance it a little warmer or us a "warm" card to balance it.

Ah ha! Nice to get a bit of input from an expert. Your suggestions sound great if it weren't for the small problem that I have absolutely no idea how to do either of those things.

Some warming up after the fact :)

Awwwww ran, thank you!

Now you're going to tell me you used photoshop, or something else I don't have, aren't you? *sigh*

The offer still stands for all kinds of photosftware if you want it gorgeous.

We just have to work out a way to get it to you anonymously.

And you do have an amazingly seductive pair of lips.

I don't have Photoshop. Cropping, resizing, adjusting colours and brightness I do with Microsoft Photo Editor... which (I think), came along with Microsoft Office.
I have three more photo editors, all of them free versions that came along with camera's... video, still digital and webcam.
Check out the drivers of your camera, surely some editing program must be supplied. Otherwise there are several you can download for free :)

Ooooo I have photo editor! I've played around with it for other stuff, but tell me how did you warm up the picture? I looked under 'balance' but I'm too dim to figure ou...
Oh I think I just have! :) Simply increasing the brightness seems to warm it up - is that what you did?

And thank you, S-H. I will get and learn photoshop at some point, but when I have time to actually learn to use it properly.

Yes, under Balance. You can adjust the colours separately. In the photo I posted above, I reduced the brightness of Blue and Green and increased the Red. Played a little with contrasts too and brightened up the whole.
Best way is to attack a pic and experiment with it beyond recognition (make sure to keep a copy of the original :D )... before long you'll get the hang of it. ;) :rose:

I fiddles with this one a little. I don't have the patience at the moment to spend to long on it.

I miss my boy. This evening I would so love to take a nice long walk along the seafront - probably about 45 - sit looking out over the sea and have a bite to eat. Then watch a movie. Then come home and make warm, sleepy love. Gawd, I can't wait till he moves over.

Sounds wonderful, but it's a bit too warm for a walk by the water here: 92 degrees today. Maybe a walk in the water...

I'm absolutely fine thanks. 'Break in' isn't really the right word. They tried my door to see if it was unlocked, and then I saw them walking along, looking in people's windows and stuff, the bastards. I called the police and gave a description. I hope they didn't get in a anywhere. :(

raphy!!!!!!!!!!

How's married life? How are things stateside? Have you got sick of them asking 'is that Wales, England?' yet? :D

What is beauty?

many will tell you their opinion of it.

All I know about it is that I know when I see it. And I have seen it here in this thread.
:rose:

I love the new avatar as well as the crisp and clear photographs you are posting again! You clearly have the art side of photography matched with the beauty side of it.
