So what would you like to know? I can't really think of anything other than I'm Vietnamese and my friends call me Buddha, hence the alias. I'm not Buddhist though. I'm also new here, so still finding my way around. Is that a good start?

If I was a troll, I'd use the old line, "a/s/l?" lol. W/ your nick, I was wondering if you were or weren't buddhist. I'd probably been harrassing you about info on that, since a client is buddhist and it might help me to understand her a bit more.

I'm a massage therapist.

As for the buddhism, I really don't know anything about it. Therefore would like to learn anything/more. There is suppose to be a buddhist temple about 1 1/2 hrs-2 hrs from me, but I've not gone yet to check into it.

I like to learn about things as in different cultures, different religions, different mentalities, ect. Too many in this world judge others based on things they do not know or understand. They do not take the time to learn about them either. I have a client who is buddhist. I don't want to risk offending her by asking a question from my stupidity. Does this help w/ my curiousity??

I appreciate your outlook there; it's always good to recognize there are other ideas than your own and understanding these ideas helps us be better people. But at the same time, if you unintentionally offend someone, that person should see that you were just curious and let it go. If they cannot, then it is their problem and not yours.

It is snowing big time here. These damn idiot drivers have no clue as to how to drive in it. I am from Alabama, but I can hold my own in Snow. Hell, it snows more in north Alabama than it does here. Hope everyone has a great day.

I appreciate your outlook there; it's always good to recognize there are other ideas than your own and understanding these ideas helps us be better people. But at the same time, if you unintentionally offend someone, that person should see that you were just curious and let it go. If they cannot, then it is their problem and not yours.

I do realize in that sometimes people can be overly sensitive, been a few times in my life due to stress or sleeplessness. In normal situations, I am not as cautious over risking offense; however, when it comes to my clients, I am more cautious. I am in my business to try and help people, I am very good at what I do, however, if I offend them and they don't come back, they may never go to another therapist for help, they may go to a less competent one (and I have referec some clients to other therapists whom I thought could help them more than I could, but we do have quite a few here who for several reasons, I'd personally would be scared to let them touch someone--ex. the girl who I know was on cocaine. She was reported to the board by 2 different people, nothing was done ).

C'mon, folks, can't we offer some encouragement? Seems like a lot of other areas are having Litogethers all the time...

Roman, you're close enough to the line to count. lol. As for suggestions, I'm in the sw part of this here state, so can't suggest much. About the only thing I 1/2 way know about the area is Vienna, VA and Tyson's corner mall (I had relatives that lived there many yrs back, the mall was their idea of showing me the area.....((cough)) )
