He started looking around for his own clothes, "I guess I should go get my clothes back on too?"

Danny found his underwear and jeans easily enough. His old T-shirt was hiding underneath the kitchen table. He almost tripped over his sneakers in the hallway. How'd the hell did they get in there? But wait. What in the hell had happened to his socks? He found one under the sofa, but its twin was still missing when Revenna came down the stairs looking positively radiant in a pair of casual jeans and baby blue button-up blouse. "So when are we supposed to meet her?"
Danny shrugged, "I don't think she said when to meet her. That kid didn't give us a lot of specific details to go on."

At the foot of the stairs she staggered and Danny shocked tried to get to her before she collapsed, but she was able to catch herself and regain her footing. She straightened up and told him. "I am fine. Just I have never had to be a containment battery for so many at once before. Some of them are not happy that I cannot access their powers."

"If you're all dressed then let's go." Ethan told them from the doorway.

They filed out of the Revenna's house and climbed into the cab of Ethan's truck. He was at the wheel with Revenna in the middle and Danny in the passenger side. They pulled out of the driveway and made their way into town towards the park the oracle would wait for them at. He looked over to the woman who had quickly become so important to him and took her hand. "Revenna? You sure you're okay?"

 

[Asa]

She nodded.

They are not pleased that there is one Titan on the loose much less the even spirit level a second one in the Oracle of the Titans.

She leaned again Danny and smiled trying to reassure him.

Let's just get this meeting done and they should calm down some.

She watched as they drove along. Everything felt different and she was not sure if that was a good thing or not only time would tell.

They filed out of the Revenna's house and climbed into the cab of Ethan's truck. He was at the wheel with Revenna in the middle and Danny in the passenger side. They pulled out of the driveway and made their way into town towards the park the oracle would wait for them at. He looked over to the woman who had quickly become so important to him and took her hand. "Revenna? You sure you're okay?"

"They are not pleased that there is one Titan on the loose," She nodded leaning into him in a way that made Danny feel so good and protective and nurturing, "Much less the even spirit level a second one in the Oracle of the Titans."

"I don't get it, not really" Danny murmured to her as Ethan drove the truck towards the park. "I don't think I have to, though. All I need to do is support you through it." His hand closed over hers, "And I don't need to see the future to know I'll always support you, Revenna."

They rode on as Ethan passed the pizza shop he worked at and beyond to pull into the park in question. They climbed out and Danny looked around. "I guess now all we have to do is find her here."

 

[Asa]

They are not used to being so powerless and having to rely on me for so many of them at once. So from time to time it's like a herd of preschoolers whining in my head.

She looked around the park and closing her eyes and trying to sense the Oracle. You might be better able to sense her Danny.

They rode on as Ethan passed the pizza shop he worked at and beyond to pull into the park in question. They climbed out and Danny looked around. "I guess now all we have to do is find her here."

Danny surveyed the park. It was a green field lined with trees, playground equipment were scattered throughout, and kids were everywhere swinging on swings rocking on the seesaws. How on earth were they going to find one little girl in all this? It was a search for a needle in a field of haystacks.

Revenna looked at the same sight and stated, "You might be better able to sense her Danny."
"Me, how-" He asked her dumbfounded but then he felt the toy of Scooby Doo the girl had given him in his vision in his pocket. "-Oh...okay...but help me out."

His other hand reached out and took hers in it. She was so strong. When he felt her like this. He could imaging feeling some of her strength pass through her hand and into him. Then he felt Ethan's hand rest on his shoulder. He was so solid and dependable, assured in his own strength. Danny could feel similar strength flow into him from the older man at his back.

It was easier with them together like this, relying upon their combined strength, His vision came to him. He could see him leading the other two through the park. "This way."

He followed his vision retracing the steps they hadn't made before. Past dozens of children to one in pigtails and a cute pink dress playing by herself in a sandbox. As they approached, she beamed up at them. She bounced up took hold of Revenna's hand and led her to sit with her in the sandbox. "Barbie, you came. Come on, let's play."

She looked to the other two before following the xhild and sitting down by her. She did not care for these games but clearly those were going to be impossible to get.

He followed his vision retracing the steps they hadn't made before. Past dozens of children to one in pigtails and a cute pink dress playing by herself in a sandbox. As they approached, she beamed up at them. She bounced up took hold of Revenna's hand and led her to sit with her in the sandbox. "Barbie, you came. Come on, let's play."

Revenna seemed to humor her sitting down on the edge of the sandbox holding out the barbie doll to play with the little girl. "Okay, little one..."

She took another doll and held it up to face Revenna's barbie doll. "Barbie," She said as if she were the doll talking to Revenna's, "let's go have a tea party and then we'll play, okay?"

Ethan came up and knelt down next to them holding out the Ken doll he'd been given. "Can I come too?"

The little girl beamed at him, "Of course Barbie needs Ken and her doggie with her to make her strong enough."

Danny knelt on the other side and trying to imitate the silly speech impediment of Scooby Doo asked, "Why am I the dog?"

"But you're such a good doggie." Her plastic hand patted Scooby's head. "Brave and strong and loyal. You're perfect to help Barbie on Olympus."

Danny glanced over to Revenna and then back to the little girl. "How can I help her, and why Olympus."

"Because Doggie loves Barbie and Ken, and Barbie loves Ken and Doggie." She said as if that should be obvious to all of them.

Danny's cheeks flushed, "Well, yeah, I guess, I mean I only just met her...and Ethan...well, he's a guy."

"Don't stumble over yourself, kid," Ethan rumbled, "You've been head over heels since the first time you knocked on her door."

"Can we uh...just get back to this later," He said cheeks coloring a deep crimson. To the little girl he asked as a distraction, "You said Olympus before? You mean the mountain in Greece, right? The one that all the gods were supposed to live on in Greek Mythology?"

The little girl didn't bite on the deflection instead she pouted at him, "Doggie must love Barbie and Ken. Three points bound as one."

 

[Asa]

Ravenna sighed wishing she could tap into Aphordite's powers sometimes.

So what can you tell me about Olympus and why in the many kingoms would I ever have to go there?

She smiled at his attempt to sound like Scooby. Then looked to Ethan beyond over being perked around by a small child.

The little girl didn't bite on the deflection instead she pouted at him, "Doggie must love Barbie and Ken. Three points bound as one."

"So, what can you tell me about Olympus," Revenna sighed, "And why in the many kingdoms would I ever have to go there?"

Danny saw had noticed Revenna's amused reaction to his admittedly poor Scooby Doo impersonation. Ethan only just smiled thinly at his poor deflection from the subject of his feelings towards him and shared a look with Revenna behind the kid's back.

The little girl to Revenna's question by turning to her Barbie doll and talking through hers. "Barbie has to go to Olympus. It's where she learns to master accessing her heritage."

Then she stopped and straightened and reached out grabbed an Incredible Hulk figure. She made the Hulkpound the doll in other hand. "Don't help Barbie." She growled in an angry deeper voice as she made the hulk jump up and down as if stomping her into the sand. "Now you burn too."

She stopped then dropping both dolls and looking around her as if expecting to see something or someone coming.

Danny groaned out doubling over as an instant migraine struck as a terrible vision stampeded through his mind's eye. Through gritted teeth he told Revenna, "He's coming here....he's gonna kill her...and us if he catches us...Don't fight him...Run...we have to run away...now!"

Ethan had stood up scanning their surroundings. They were in a park surrounded by kids playing and adults, but in the wide open. He stopped and pointed to the trees where a tall unkempt homeless man stood. "There."

He was deeply sweating, and the air shimmered from the heat coming off of the giant of a man. He smiled and started towards them. Every step burning footprints into the grass. Danny clutching his pounding head. "He's coming...He's coming...He's coming..."

Ethan grabbed the little girl and turned to Revenna. "Get Danny and make for the truck now!" His voice growled as his eyes began to shift and hairs started becoming fur.

 

[Asa]

Ravenna grabbed Danny cursing that she could not call on Aries in that moment. Getting to the truck she threw Danny in the cab with Ethan and the child ready to hop in the back and use every curse she had ever used before to save Ethans people or any other that needed it.

By father's blood you will be stopped!

Ravenna snarled.

By my power all before you will be protected from you and you will bring no harm to that now sacred protected land.

Ethan grabbed the little girl and turned to Revenna. "Get Danny and make for the truck now!" His voice growled as his eyes began to shift and hairs started becoming fur.

Revenna being really quick grabbed the kid and pulled Danny up and began pushing him towards the truck. It was parked pretty far off, almost a hundred or so meters away. The fire giant was making too much ground on them too quickly.

"Hurry," He growled fully transformed into his hybrid werecat form he picked both of them up in his other arm easily lifting them off the ground as his inhuman strength and speed chewed up the distance to the truck.

"By father's blood you will be stopped!" Ethan heard his wife snarl over his shoulder at the chasing fire giant. "By my power all before you will be protected from you and you will bring no harm to that now sacred protected land."

They reached the truck and he pretty much tossed them to the ground handing Revenna the keys. "Get her running."

He turned round fur raised and fangs and claws out snarling himself at the oncoming monster. He would sacrifice himself before allowing this thing close to the woman he loved.

The heat was already sweltering and the homeless man hadn't even reached them yet. But just as he was going to reach about fifteen meters from the truck it looked like the fire giant slammed into an invisible wall or force field from star trek or something. He pounded fists against it erupting into flames towering twenty or thirty feet slamming against a dome centered around their truck-no-centered around Revenna.

Enraged to madness the fire giant bellowed at them. "Run but you will not escape my wrath. I will find you and you will burn."

The engine finally came to life and Ethan jumped onto the back as it pulled out and roared out of the parking lot and onto the street.

 

[Asa]

Trying to drive and the magics she used pulling their price was a bit of a feat but they cleared the park and with help she got them back to their home. The energies of the house went active as the entire feel of the place changed. Ravenna stumbled out of the truck and onto the ground as a voice almost from the plants themselves seemed to whisper on the air almost inaudible but warm and comforting in its feeling.
Ethan... help them... I need a mo...moment

They rocketed through the streets back towards their little suburban road nestled in a wildlife reserve pressed up the developed urban areas of the city. They ran past his house and pulled into the driveway of Revenna's house. Danny was hunched over in the passenger seat clutching his pounding head. The pain was sharp and he could feel it peircing right through all the way back to the park.

He could see it. The fire giant raged and pushed at the barrier Revenna had instinctively erected in the park. The homeless person he'd hijacked fell to the ground immolated entirely in it's fury. It was winning. Even now the barrier was shattering. In moments it would fall and the fire giant would pursue them. He was coming. He was coming.

He was still coming after them!

"We have to keep running," The little girl said softly fear slicing through that childish demeanor she worn like armor before. "This place is not safe."

"Aggghh..." He growled through the pain, "I know....we have to go."

Revenna had climbed out of Ethan's truck and collapsed on the lawn of her house spent. "Ethan... help them... I need a mo...moment."

Ethan leaped off the back of the truck to curl her up in his strong fur-covered arms raising her up effortlessly He nuzzled his snout affectionately to the side of his mate's face feeling her hand stroke through his fur from whiskers to ears in response. "You did good. You brought us back and held him off. You were amazing, my love. Rest now."

"No, Ethan," Danny called from where he was climbing out of the truck but collapsed to the driveway on his hands and knees. "He's still after us. We have to go. He knows where we are...aggghhh it hurts...He's coming."

The pain surged and he spat out blood onto the asphalt of Revenna's driveway.

At the park firefighters had come spraying water at the freak tornado of fire that erupted in a park in the middle of the city. Police was busy rushing innocent bystanders back to a safe distance. Helicopters police and news swarmed around the freak weather occurence. It seemed stuck in place but then with a roar of triumph, but that was ridiculous, fire did not speak, it surged forward down the street setting buildings and cars alight on fire. They fought it courageously spraying water and foam that became steam innefective against it as it barrelled in a straight line through downtown towards a suburban area and a little wildlife reserve.

Nothing was working. The freak tornado of fire went where it wanted to go and it was dead set to ravage that street, that house, those poor poor doomed people.

 

[Asa]

I... will... not leave... this sacred land... they... need me to maintain wards... illusions... safety...

With that Ravenna passed out as a ripple of energy seemed to flood the area. A healing seal over the land. She had to protect them all. Now the lake behind the house and the woods becoming energized it was their turn to protect and heal. The little "Watersprite" walking over human sized and kneeling beside them and studying her for a long moment before looking to Ethan.

Summon her... and we will deal with the witch... she will help protect this place as penance for her deceptions and manipulations we will see to that. The titan can not go where you will need to go.

It cast a wary eye to the alleged child before looking back to Ethan.

They masked their presence from you because of your association with the witch open your mind now to the lands of Ravenna.

With that it moved to Danny and the child. Placing Danny and the child's hands together with its own.

You will help me heal him... or else!

"No, Ethan," Danny called from where he was climbing out of the truck but collapsed to the driveway on his hands and knees. "He's still after us. We have to go. He knows where we are...aggghhh it hurts...He's coming."

The pain surged and he spat out blood onto the asphalt of Revenna's driveway.

"I... will... not leave... this sacred land... " Revenna announced resolutely, "They... need me to maintain wards... illusions... safety..." She then collapsed on the front lawn unconscious.

The werecat that was Ethan reached down to pick up his mate as a little spirit of water came towards them. Regarding Revenna it said.

"Summon her... and we will deal with the witch..." It told him, "She will help protect this place as penance for her deceptions and manipulations we will see to that. The titan can not go where you will need to go."

It gave the oracle child a wary eye and then back to Ethan holding his unconscious mate in his massive, furred arms. "They masked their presence from you because of your association with the witch. Open your mind now to the lands of Ravenna."

"I understand," He purred lifting up his mate to carry her inside.

The waterspirit turned to the oracle girl. "You will help me heal him... or else!"

"Only through the power of Aphrodite can little doggie heal." She shook her head with a stubborn pout. "Barbie must learn to channel her power. She has to do it for doggie's sake."

Danny looked up at the water spirit his head pounding as images, terrible, and catastrophic flowed one after another. through his throbbing mind. "You will try but I can see it...you will burn...Revenna's home will burn...we will all burn...we have to go right now. Leaving for Olympus is the only way we survive."

 

[Asa]

Put the floodgates in his mind and ease Ravenna's mates pain Now Oracle just as was done for you young one! The water sprite growled not believing it was safe for the titan to know about those that lived here. As the land seemed to shimmer and a handful of long believed extinct creatures from the ancient tales seemed to step from the woods. A Centauress and foal a satyr clearly showing his age and a small collection of others unwilling to be clearly seen.

~We cannot release her till life holds her eyes again. She cannot wake as long as she stalwartly seeks to hide us and this place. Her sleep may kill her before the titan of flames will! We will tolerate the witch. The child may be granted passage with you if Hera approves~

Ravenna laid there in his arms a slight twitch to her eyes or body randomly the only proof she was even alive.
