Friday was alright.. got up, chatted a bit, got ready for the day, looked smashing, dropped off 10 resume's and met a few owners of stores... something might be promising in this cool funky little wine shop by the university (I WANT THAT JOB SO BAD! I'VE WANTED TO WORK THERE FOR 2 YEARS NOW!)
And then we went to visit a friend of ours, and then we came home, and I crashed in bed. I was so tired, and so cold... and then feverish... guess I'm getting sick... but I will NOT let it get in the way!

It'd be cool if we were working in the same biz, we might get to see each other at industry conferences

You also looking for a job? Same here. Urk, and I hate writing cover letters! I just can't seem to come up with any new ways of writing them, and they sound horrible...

Wine consultant for the largest independent wine & liquor retailer in the US
That's how I'm getting to go to California, it's a buying trip that I'm extending with a week's vacation
That way, all my travel is paid for

Next spring I have to go to Europe for my first futures buying trip to France & Italy....2 weeks paid to travle Europe drinking & eating all day <sigh>
And the monthly meetings where we spend 8 hours sampling hundreds of wines just SUCK
