FIFA is for soccer the same what Nestlé is for the food industry. Or Meta for the digital world. They have the same businesses model. Placed in a position of total control. With so much power that they don't care that most of the world hates them. What has every soccer club in common? They like to throw out FIFA. They can't because FIFA owns the grass down to the smallest local team. What has every supermarket company in common? They would throw out Nestlé completely. But that would mean that 60% of the products on the shelves would be missing. We all hate Zuckerberg and meta but keep on using WhatsApp. From Day one when Katar won the championship everyone said Katar should not host the event 12 years long coaches, teams, Media, politicians were against Qatar. In 12 years no one managed to get FIFA to change it

The BBC gave the ceremony full mockery coverage, like it's never been known before with it's dreariest program 'Newsnight'. Normally a snoozefest, the producers couldn't help themselves and turned into a version of SNL.

The world is laughing at the crass stupidity of Trump swallowing the cynical splurge emitted by a servile, creeping FIFA president Gianni Infantino who has the most appropriate name for a guy with a child-like adoration complex.

I hope you are wearing a hockey helmet with that bulbous thin skull of yours. Trump negotiated 8 peace treatys/cessation of war in 8 months. No other president has even come close. If you knew anything about the guy, he’s hated war since his 20s and talked about it. He despises the cost of human life and the monetary cost of something so stupid. Yeah, that really sounds like a “war monger”.
Three more years of greatness in the White House and I’m sure it’ll be three more years of pathetic attempts to discredit Trump. He’s done everything he said he would and more than 80% of America agree with his stances on things. So go find a safe space and count your genders

The US, Canada and Mexico are hosting the World Cup in a demonstration of the benefits of international cooperation.

And as a demonstration of the financial impact that hosting it here has on the sale of the US broadcasting rights.
