Sweatshirts

yeah. I think the longer stretches of sun and warmth are done. It's dark early and it's getting cold.

It is a nice change to wear a sweatshirt in the mornings. It looks like a little rain might happen later this week. I cant believe I’m saying it, but that will be welcomed too.

My grass will welcome it for sure. The Washington Greenery is looking a little brown.

i'm oddly weird about long sleeves. I love big baggy sweatshirts, but I'm constantly pulling at the sleeves. I love the Fall attire. Boots and such. I love the smell in the air. I love the leaves changing.
But I hate the dark. :(

I feel like Central Washington and Eastern Washington just don't get enough love. I don't see as many speak up.

Just recently revisited Lit, this time as a hopeful author. I really can't blame people for not wanting to speak up locally. Even the Tri-Cities is more like a small town, USA. People around here tend to be exactly like the quintessential small town, in everyone's business and judging.

Luckily, Lit is exactly the place where I would want to find friends.

I do like fall. Especially in a state that gets a real one. Cooler weather, sweatshirts, and and the transition from summer IPA’s to sitting by a fire with a stout.

I don't usually announce my city. Just general area. 😉

I totally look forward to the fires! 😍

Fall

The leaves are starting to turn and its going to be a brisk day. My favorite time of year is upon us.

My Japanese Maple trees are already almost all green. Not the bright reddish.
There is even a chance of rain today. If not. We're going to the fair.

We have thought about going, but we have two grand kids that have caught Covid. The Damn thing just wont go away. I am so over this thing and am really wanting to get back to get back to being social.

This is the first year that I didn't buy a single thing. I'm grateful we had free tickets. All the Vending stuff is WAY smaller. The biggest building is a beer garden. (Evergreen fair btw)
We didn't even buy scones or an elephant ear. My daughter bought an elephant ear and said they are pre measured pieces of dough that are thicker and not as easy to tear. They are still good. but she wasn't impressed.
I recommend pre buying tickets, or going early. They have a cap on how many they are letting in. So a lot of people have been complaining that they can't get in on the evenings.
The kids rides are scaled way down. The adult rides, I only noticed a few missing.

The animals are scaled down also. But we still enjoyed the Goats and Pigs.

I wanted to check out all the Vendors. So I was a little sad at how many were not there.

But the parking is free. So there is that.

Great place to live

We live in a beautiful state you guys( and gals) get out and enjoy the Holliday with the good weather while it lasts!

We are only going for that. I don't do rides or anything anymore. Evergreen was horrible and I am glad we didn't pay for the tickets.

For everyone traveling this weekend. Be safe. :rose:

we shot down to MT rainier area, did a quick hike up to grand park and saw no one for 4.0 hours. saw 8 people last 2.0. fun, safe, easy to get to and beautiful. do it if you want:)

I want to make it down there again. Been years. I'm saving that trip for when a friend of mine can come back into town. But I'm sure it was beautiful. :)
