Waste your time online?

I typically spend my time flirting with CelticFrog and sheath.

It works for me.

Oh, does it ever.

Oh, but we can never get enough of it.

Really. NEVER.

Of course, if you ask sheath, I can never do ANYTHING without multitasking. I say there is ONE thing I don't multitask with.
;)

You have good reason, you know.
You just can't forget me while you're on vacation for ten days.
Not that I'd get bored online, mind you... not with all these great new sites to visit!!!

Speaking of which...

*bump*

come on, it's not like I've resurrected a thread for a long time.

And this one is FUN.

Feed your internet soul!

 I need a nap.

might i suggest taking one then?:D

I'd love to. But with a small screaming one, a headache that refuses to go away, and dinner to cook for J once he gets home... I'm afraid that may be out of the question.

So instead, I'm making a valiant effort at creating bath salts for what I hope is a nice long aromatic bath before bed. Probably won't get, but I hope.

Seriously folks... there's tons of websites out there, and a LOT of them are totally pointless except to encourage us to waste time.

Help your fellow litsters waste time!

ah...I love Homestarrunner...absolutely fabulous and hysterical.

Strongbad e-mail...especially trogdor the dragon

Teen Girl Squad... :)

Other sites I like:

ilovebacon.com Lots of funny pics and jokes...not always work appropriate.

and...a site newly introduced to me...

The Stephanie Tanner Project is an absolutely side splittling journey through an elaborate internet prank. If you ever watched Full House, have wondered what happens to b-list celebrities or just want to see a poor totally clueless guy get totally duped, this site is for you.

darwin awards

tardblog.com

tuckermax.com (beligerance and debauchary stories)

rathergood.com

homestarrunner.com

livejournal.com

bored.com

and then I do random google searches to learn stuff about pointless things. Like today on the GB someone brought up adam and eve and bellybuttons... I didn't think it was such a big deal, but apparently it REALLY was, so off I went to do a little research.

Between Lit, and life and friends, I end up doing that quite often, so I'd say search engines are another 'waste of my time.'

"may I waste your time to?"

Hmm... I know two babes that could, Oh I don't know... this might sound a little crazy... work??? That way I wouldn't have to listen to either of them whine about needing to get some work done. Hehehe, love you two.

Well, you see darling, we DO work.

But our work is so stressful and... uh... demanding and... uh... mind sucking..... yeah... so we need the distraction.

WHAT???? We do work. Literotica is research for the book, darling Ranger. ;)

Yeah, yeah, that's right. That's it. That's my story and I'm sticking to it, come hell or high water or flame thrower.

Oh, I almost forgot...love you back. :p

S.

Yeah. Love you too, hon. (oops)

Anyways, half of our time wasting is done looking for research possibilities. Yeah. That's the ticket.

Anyways, we can always work next week.

Wrecked Exotics -- Weird Car Crashes
That one is just cool. Sheath and I spent over two hours last night looking at these. Special thanks to hersixstring for providing THAT link.

Payback
Okay... I think this is quite possibly the coolest idea ever conceived in the age of internet.

Voice Interactive Demo
Heh... it's way way way too much fun to type in absolutely random sentences with bad punctuation on this site. Apparently Ranger and the guys at work spend no-fly days laughing in the office at this one.

Just a few more...

Y'all keep posting now...

About two years ago I changed my diet to one that includes virtually no meat and next to no fat for health reasons. It's working, which is a good thing.

However, I sorely miss eating triple cheeseburgers with grilled onions and a side of fresh-cut french fries. And other similarly greasy but great-tasting things. Given the choice, I would always prefer to stop at a great mom and pop restaurant over a franchise burger place when on the road.

Occasionally, I stop by www.roadfood.com in order to read their articles about great small restaurants all over the country. Sometimes I can hear the grease spattering in the kitchen and can almost smell the fresh doughnuts, flaky pie crusts, and freshly grilled steaks when I browse the roadfood site.

Mmmmm....of course now I want one of those pieces of deep dish apple pie with freshly-made vanilla ice cream right now. I mean RIGHT NOW. Oh well.

Okay. I'm now a member of that roadfood place. Cause there are no reviews of any of the cool little places here.

I've got a question about all these livejournal sites. Some are free, some aren't. Is it really worth it to pay extra money for some extra features?

Or are there free sites out there that offer the same 'extras' for free as well?

Just pondering blogs, since I've never had one.

Live Journal is Free. but this was copied/pasted from their site.

Which aspects of LiveJournal are free?
All LiveJournal accounts, whether free or paid, can update journals, make comments, and perform basic customization of a journal's appearance, among other features. However, not all aspects of LiveJournal are free.

There are some features that are only available to Paid Accounts. This is necessary, because LiveJournal must pay for bandwidth and server costs. If a feature uses too much bandwidth, uses too much server processing power, or places too much of a strain upon the databases, it is reserved for Paid Accounts only. Additionally, some features are reserved for Paid Accounts to show our appreciation for users who are supporting us. A complete list of these features can be found in Live Journal Paid Account Features .

While we would like nothing more than to be able to provide a more extended range of features to all LiveJournal users, simple economics prevent us from being able to. If you would like access to one of the Paid Account features, you will need to purchase a Paid Account. No exceptions can be made to this policy.
