Welcome to Lusthaven (OOC)

So no somehow getting her to teach him magic to make him better? Unless he had something insanely valuable that she wanted of course

Can he do magic? It's not a teachable skill. He'd either have it or not. She could teach (could, not would. She won't give away any secrets) him more powerful spells, but not the ability of magic itself.

Ok, yeah, I forgot about that. On a separate note, can't someone who can do magic imbue an item with magical properties, whether that means just enhancing its properties or giving it new powers?

They can, but Abigail isn't a fan of enchanting. She can do it, but it isn't a one of her strongest skills. And if you did want something enchanted you'd be better off going to someone else who specializes in enchantments, and because Abigail wouldn't do it lol.

The Drunken Sailor

Got it, so I had a new idea that I just came up with that I really like, that would slightly change my character. If people don't want me to do this, I don't have to, but my thought is that Bruce has collected all of the money that he's gotten from his high profile contracts and bought a building in Lusthaven that he turned into an Irish pub known as the Drunken Sailor. He now spends his time between jobs running the bar and collecting information that others drunkenly let slip.

He also grows tired of turning away jobs because he doesn't think that the targets are high profile enough for his skills, so he starts doing a referencing business, referring lower class jobs to lower class mercenaries for a small cut of the bounty. This other side job quickly gains reputation and he becomes what is essentially the agent for many lesser bounty hunters.

He decides to merge the two businesses and now the Drunken Sailor is his main base of operations, where many of the lesser mercenaries spend their time, and is a solid source of unnecessary income.

If that's too much, I can not have it, but I just thought of the idea and liked it a lot.

He's your character, do whatever you like :)

Great, so there was one thing, and Bruce doesn't care one way or another, but he has a business proposition for Abigail. He's been to Salem and liked it, and some of his men have to, so he was wondering if, in exchange for free assassinations and contracts, he and his men could have a set amount of free uses of Salem.

Abigail doesn't need that many people killed, and if she wanted someone dead she'd do it herself. That being said, she could use some guards at Salem. I was planning on her using zombies or demons or something, but actual guards would be better. So in exchange for their services as guards your men get free drinks, free usage of the smallest rooms once per day, and free usage of a slave once per day. For all other uses they get a ten percent discount. Fair deal?

LOL. How often will this arrangement actually come up in the story of the RP after the initial posts? I assume at some point the focus will be on sex and violence, and the best way to do that is to have a war, lol. Still working out details, though.

Bruce's guys will probably double as Abigail's guys (if he's cool with that), so when the war comes about she won't be alone on the battlefield.

I'm good with that if she treats them right, they're not going to serve someone who treats them like shit.

She doesn't interact with them. I'm thinking of making a third character who's super nice and sweet, and she's Abigail's assistant. So all of Abigail's bitchyness is filtered through this super sweet and nice girl so it's not as offensive.

Name: Roxanne, goes by Roxy

Age: 19

Race: Human

History: Roxy was born a slave in Salem. She grew up cooking and cleaning the club, but was soon noticed by Abigail for her extreme intelligence. Abigail had Roxy schooled, nurturing the child's genius. Roxy grew up in relative luxury compared to the other slaves, and they soon grew to hate her for it. Abigail allowed Roxy to live in a small room on her personal level to protect her from the other slaves. At thirteen Roxy began to deliver small unimportant messages on Abigail's behalf. Soon the cheerful teen was known as Abigail's mouthpiece, delivering the witch's commands all over the island. Roxy spent the next few years speaking for Abigail, until the day she turned eighteen, when Abigail grew a cock (yes she does have a spell for that) and took Roxy's virginity. After that Abigail allowed Roxy to choose who she had sex with, as opposed to all other slaves who had no choice.

Roxy, unlike literally every other slave in Salem, doesn't hate Abigail. She reveres and practically worships the witch. Because of Roxy's deep loyalty, Abigail gives Roxy more freedom. Roxy isn't restricted to Salem, and is allowed to go anywhere she pleases on the island. Roxy can say no when others ask her for sex (although she very rarely uses this right). Roxy basically is free, her only restrictions are that she must follow all of Abigail's orders to the letter. Roxy wears a light blue collar to show her elevated status.

Because Abigail is so rarely seen, some of the younger people on the island think that Roxy is the actual owner of Salem, and Abigail is just a rumor.

Roxy is one of the few people on the island who could be considered good or pure. She hates blood, violence, and torture, and she goes our of her way to make both the slaves and the masters happy.

Powers: Roxy has no actual powers, but she does have genius level intelligence.

I am seeing a lot of interesting characters here, and a number of power groups with Lord Calsuphur; Abigail Williams and her slaves; the mercenaries; and my Revelers.

What I am wondering about now though is what kind of plot we'll play. I can't see the Revelers doing well in an all out war with a disciplined elite group like the Riftguard seems to be. The Revelers aren't really build for war. They have their muscle but the Hounds of Hell are more of a bunch of hoodlums and marauders than an army fit for a siege.

What I can see the Revelers work well in though would be a situation of infiltration either against the Riftguard or any human powers. Or in a situation of intrigue of the various Red Wardens against each other. They could be allies or rivals of the other power factions, without creating too firm an alliance, as their 'religious agenda' (chaos and debauchery) is even more important to them than money or power.

I think the interaction between them and Abigail Williams would be quite interesting, with Abigails interest in the Revelers' dungeons. And yes as it was stated before, vast underground dungeons on a tropical island most likely won't work. Thus they will be partially flooded caverns (water bondage!) with portals to Saturnalia as well as the realm of the incubi.

um hi, me again. I am curious about joining but my thing is that with group roleplays, they usually end up bad and my character may be a bit too much so I was curious is this an anything goes roleplay or what? I would like to know details. like about what is accepted and not accepted for one.

Characters in the Crimson Revelers:

These are the most powerful leaders below The Vizier himself, which I intend to keep a rather mysterious figure. I am not sure yet which of them I will mainly rp. It will depend on plot. I'd also like the other players to tell me which of those they find most interesting to interact with for their characters.

Lasse "The Hammer" Solberg.
A tall blond man in his mid forties, Solberg is the leader of the Lusthaven chapter of the Hounds of Hell, and the de facto leader of the outlaw biker gang. Solberg is a man of powerful build, with fists like bricks, a former boxer who spent many years in prison, after punching to death an opponent who insulted him outside of the ring. He is a cruel, ruthless man with grim determination. Even though he is a clever leader, he is not a deep thinker and doesn't care that much about the Reveler's agenda beside chaos, rape and destruction. He has made a pact with a powerful demon lord, guaranteeing him great strength and endurance in exchange for the souls of the tormented

Lucius "The Priest" Di Sacrilegio
Thin and tall, with long black hair and a rather feral appearance, Lucius, second in command of the Hounds of Hell is a rather unsettling person. He doesn't really seem completely human, as he is of Saturnalian human ancestry mixed with satyr and demonic blood. Lucius is the most powerful demonologist in the gang and one of the most powerful ones in the whole organization of the Revelers, a man who can conjure up hellfire as well as drive people insane with horrible visions and nightmares. His sexual appetite is ravenous and he always has a great demand for new slaves to serve his primal and sadistic pleasures. Even though Luciano is a man of great magical power, he is seen as a bit of a liability by The Vizier, as "The Priest" seems to drift into madness, and it might only be a question of time until he loses control of the powers he's playing with.

Ugur "The Hand" Wylde
Outside of the dungeons, Ugur is a small, unassuming old man, with light grey hair, clad in simple grey clothes. A man who doesn't talk much, but has that mysterious smile. Inside the dungeons, Ugur shows his true form, a demonic satyr with hooves and tails, red glowing eyes and a forked tongue. He is the master of the dungeons, knowing every cavern, every portal like the back of his clawed hand. The sound of his hooves on the wet stone floors spreads fear in the hearts of his victims, the touch of his tongue is the touch of a death. Ugur is not a mere sadist. Among the Revelers he is also known for the great orgies he organizes, and for the power he holds within the organization. His influence reaches far beyond the dungeons he dwells.

Dianthe, "The Bound Lady"

For such a long time she's been chained to the walls of the dungeon, becoming part of the dungeon itself. She has given in to the torture, her mind embracing the demons, making a pact with them, creating a bond that is stronger than sanity, stronger than pain. Dianthe's beauty is unbroken, the scars on her alabaster skin a perfect pattern, her screams of agony more tempting than the lure of a siren. She has become an oracle to the leaders of the Revelers, Lucius di Sacrilegio consults her as much as Ugur The Hand or Professor Elridge. But do they realize how strong the evil within her has grown, how deep her demonic lust runs, how much power over them she holds in her insatiable masochism?

Professor Antonius Solomon Elridge
Born on Saturnalia, the grey-bearded Antonius Elridge now is a respected authority on ancient history and religion, a man with many contacts in scholarly society. While he seems a truly respectable figure he is known in a select circle for the secret and unspeakably decadent Roman orgies he organized, among the highly exclusive guest list politicians, industrial leaders, Hollywood Stars and even cardinals and TV evangelists. Professor Elridge has withdrawn from the public now, serving mainly as a senior advisor to the Vizier, his more subtle methods being a counterbalance to the reckless brutality of the Hounds of Hell. The Professor's son, Dr. Percival Zadok Elridge now has become a rather successful business man though, his secret agenda similar to that of his father.

Alonso "The Gigolo" De Galan
Tall dark and handsome, De Galan is a smooth talker of charming manners. A scholar of sexual magic, he is the headmaster of the slave training facilities of the Revelers, training those lured by promises as well as those forcibly abducted by the Hounds of Hell. Despite his usually rather gentle manner he can be strict and ruthless in his punishments and is almost as feared as Ugur "The Hand" by those who experienced his sadistic side. De Galan gets along well with both Elridges, being good friends with the younger one. Lasse Solberg and De Galan detest each other though. Solberg considering De Galan a weakling and De Galan seeing Solberg as a mindless brute.

This RP is mostly an "anything goes" setting so long as everyone respects everyone else and the boundaries writers set for their characters.

alright thanks. Cause I have created my own worlds in my mind, I think of myself as at least sort of creative. I think I might join. If I go out though its because of too many threads and I'm trying to keep how many threads I have low.

I just added a little bit to Roxy's profile. Basically she's not desensitized to violence like everyone else on the island

um just because I want permission so I know if it's okay to join, I can join right?
