Well appart from the actual "Dominant" thing which belive me is hard in itself, there are, or were, additional responsibilities.

Assembling the dungeon equipment.

a spell on the Door.

General watchfullness and good customer relations.

Disassembling the equipment and making sure everyone leaves safely (and quietly).

Club ran from 8pm to 2am and we (the crew) were there from 6 to 4 at least. All unpaid though of course there were rewards. What got me down most about it was getting the girls all hot and then sending them home for someone else to reape the benefits of my work, while I went home alone.

Seems to me to be lacking some benefits in kind in that regard
