Must admit there's something wonderful about sunshine streaming thru the windows first thing, gets me out of bed fairly quickly...tho I could've done with a lie in this morning...a spate of thru the night texts kept me awake...soldier boy was thinking of me apparently and decided to share his thoughts...at 2.30 am

Mind you, I didn't get much rest either, hubby gets a garbled text from a friend at around midnight saying she's taken a tablet....she's recently gone through a divorce....so of course we assume the worst.....she won't answer her phone so he goes round her place, can't find her.....ends up having a sleepless night.....

Turns out she was out getting drunk, fell over dancing around a lap-dancer's pole and did her back in...

She's fine....just can't work....which leaves us short of a driver as well.....

This is true! Used to go out with a bloke who drove for Biffa, started work around 4 am...he used to text me when he was starting work...did my head in after a while!!

Oh definitely to be avoided when pissed....kowing my luck someone'd be there with a camera snapping away as I lost my dignity!!

Oh dear...well I'd volunteer but by the time I get there the day'd be gone!!

Oh well there ya go...I could pop down under the pretence of being your "stand in" driver, and we could sit and talk about stockings and lingerie and Lit, slurp tea and nibble on choccie biscuits...highly productive...I don't think!!

Well now,

I had a rotten Christmas, all on my own.

New years eve was a disaster and I never got to either of the parties I was invited to.

Did get to meet up with a visiting "Litster" a few weeks ago. Nice Lady from Mid west USA

Went out to a thing the other evening "Beer at the British Museum", Loosely about how Brewing in Ancient egypt compared to Modern Brewing.

and then I found that a friend of mine who had told me she wasnt interested in "guys" has herself a Boy friend. So I missed that particular boat.

An old friend from years ago suddenly got in touch to say happy new year. Told me she has a new bloke, and I guess I missed that boat too.

Life huh? Who needs it?

But you did get to meet up with a visiting litster

That would need to be a major improvement *lol*...the only consolation I took from Saturdays game as a Scotsman was I couldn't see them beating anyone else...mind you means we'll be looking at wooden spoon on our performance!!

Oh, I don't know....they've improved since the autumn...with a bit more confidence and the return of a few experienced players I can see England getting better and better....some of the newer players will start to have confidence in their own ability....Harry Ellis for example played very well on Saturday I thought....

Anyway, I remember you lot took the Calcutta cup last year.....what's happened?
