Maybe I should try it on the noisy people outside - "shh". I mean why would you be standing outside chatting away at a million decibels in February.? It's freezing. And they must be keeping loads of people awake. Do they not have homes. I'm not talking in the street, they're in a totally enclosed area around the flat. Argh!
I usually find opening the window and shouting "Shut the fuck up!" tends to do the trick.

I'm more of a - go out and ask them to "shut the fuck up", but I'm being patient as it does involve getting dressed and going outside. I know it's Friday, but I can hear everything they are saying through double-glazing.
We usually get all the drunken nightclubbers wandering along outside our place at about 3am, screaming at each other.
