I do need someone tonight. Ijust found out that a very good friend of mine for a very long time has lymphoma. I am very scared. I have known him since he was twelve years old. He is only 28 now. My head has been spinning all day. I do not know what to do or what to say. I want to be there for him and his family yet I wonder if I can keep it together long enough to be any help at all.

Ughh. Life sucks.

ohhhhhh babe...that is awful.....I hate hearing things like that.
I know this is a difficult time but you just being there will make them feel better. When my mom was sick, she felt as if everyone avoided her because of her illness...so I know you being present will mean the world to him.

I am sorry you are going through that..................My Dad had lymphoma and it was very hard to deal with..........Do you happen to know if it is Hodgkins or the other kind? The best thing to do is just be there to listen and show your support........it is scary for them (as well as us).

I am here if you need to talk.........I have been there.........
