What are Deplorables?

That be a real liberal lefty Democrat in Denial projecting their insane unholy attributes on what they think are Conservatives because they think all Conservatives are way right wing lunatics.

There is NO middle ground for these people.They will NEVER understand why or how Hillary lost the '16 election with the help of many Democrats.

Those aren't liberals.....The GOP is the more liberal party now.

More classically/generally than socially, but still liberal.

1/3 to 1/2 of the (D)'s are socialist, nothing liberal about them and the moderate/socially liberal democrats are too scared to speak out against them.

Lot easier to swallow the bullshit being spewed about how his words are characterized than versus what Trump actually says when you don't actually listen to them.

Probably best that you just let the left-wing media tell you what he said, what he means by what he said and what to think about it.

The problem that the left has with Trump's actual words is that he wanders around and won't talk in sound bites that they can use against him. So instead they simply characterize what he had to say instead of running his whole rambling speech.
 
See the thread about a Texas Republican who calls science, specifically vaccines, sorcery, and also believes it's a parent's right not to vaccinate their kid.

That, is the definition of deplorable.

I cannot disagree. His meandering, hyperbolic rhetoric makes Bush sound as polished as Obama.

The on teleprompter version, of course. Not entirely being snarky there. Anyone, off notes is going to be less polished. Being competent at using a teleprompter and working with speechwriters is, in my view, the de minimis requirement to being afforded the opportunity to use the most powerful bully pulpit in the history of the world. Until the Joe the Plumber moment, I felt that Obama was the better choice over McCain because public confidence the things are or will soon be improving is the most important thing coming out of recession. Obama could easily have earned the legacy as the Democrat Reagan. Or, more accurately, a worthy heir to JFK. (JFK would be drummed out of the Democrat party these days on economic policy.)

I don't listen to Trump either but then again I did not always take the opportunity to listen to Obama. He had me screaming at my Sirius Radio more often than not but not because of the word salad but because of the ideas he espoused that I was vehemently opposed to.

The point I was making was not necessarily you specific although I was using you as a useful foil.
Because he's a blustering huckster nobody whether it be his supporters our detractors and I suspect off and he himself has any idea what he is actually trying to articulate. One of the basic tenets of salesmanship is the idea of puffing. Puffing is where you are inflating your customers expectation of a product or service. He does a lot of it and it's basically meaningless so you're not probably wrong to avoid listening to what he has to say because I'm not particularly fond of salesman and I'm fairly immune to their charm.

You are not unique though I don't think most of the people that are convinced that he actively espouses the various ideas that are being attributed to him

The conversation should be about what he's actually done what the effect that has had or will have on the country and those things that he has not done whether he should have not done them or the things that he was going to do allegedly but never did. For example he has yet to start World War 3 with Kim. That kind of thing.

To answer the original question here who are deplorables?

The term from Hillary Clinton means people that do not support Hillary Clinton or her point of view and prefer that Donald Trump be president.

That statement by Hillary Clinton more than likely cost her the election and resulted in Donald J Trump being president of the United States. Therefore Hillary was actually an unwitting supporter colluding with the Trump campaign.

All these sheep who still believe that Donald J Trump is President because the Russians have better political advisors than the Trump or Clinton campaign spent millions of dollars on are giving me hope that Trump will be re-elected. If they continue to call everyone that disagrees with them a deplorable racist more likely than not that energized face will show up at the polls.

I don't think Biden is going to make it through the primaries. He's a buffoon and I don't much care for his actual politics but we have a buffoon in office now and Biden would be politically acceptable. I would be willing right now to trade Donald Trump for Joe Biden assuming that the Republicans can have control of the house and the Senate.

So to sum up deplorables are people like Rory that might well get Donald J Trump re-elected.

My list of deplorables:

1. People who do not to return their shopping carts to the appropriate place.
2. People who abuse or neglect animals and children.
3. People who incessantly refuse to use their turn signal. We all forget sometimes. But there are those assholes that seem to think their motor vehicle came without one.
4. People Who had to respond all on an email chain when it is not necessary.
5. People who use the last of the toilet paper and don’t replace the rollover tell someone they are out of toilet paper.

Sadly, I admit I see them everywhere too.
