I love the term "Christmas dinner fixins" we don't hear it described that way here in Australia but it says it all perfectly. I've seen the bitter cold and icy roads over there on the news and wish we could share a bit of our warm weather, it's 29 here also but that is 29°C which is 84°F. I wish you a little calm break in the weather to grab the "fixins" and merry Christmas.

Thank you I wasn't going to go but my older brothers car died on him while driving home from work so I ended up going out to rescue him and he happened to be just near the grocery store so I stopped in and got my shopping done.

And I did it in a pair of thigh high socks, some leggings, a skirt, tank, pullover sweater, cardigan, winter boots and my long dress coat with a scarf and gloves. Managed not to get frostbite, although I did ream my brother for his lack of proper winter gear. Foolish man had on a pair of work pants, a tee, two hoodies, a hat, scarf and holey tennis shoes.
