Okay, to save your bacon, I'll get back on topic.

My most prolific writein used to be late at night, chain smoking, drinking coffe and pacing around the room between paragraphs plotting the next one.

Stopped smoking and have much more difficulty getting the words to flow.

Chewing gum seems to have helped, but I still pace between spurts (of writing).
