It's one of those shows that is pretty close to the books. I watched the show first and then got into the books and found it refreshingly close to the series. Except Avasalara is shown in the first season when she isn't in the first book. That's the biggest difference. There are minor differences, but different mediums and all.

Yes, I'm enjoying it so far. His past work (A Gentleman in Moscow and The Lincoln Highway) were highly recommended too. I should have started with those, but I guess I'll work my way backwards.
