Congrats dixi! Where is it on you? How big is it? My wife is going to design a very small tattoo for me when we've been together 10 years (we're at 8.5 so far) but I have no idea what it will be like. I originally planned to get her first initial, A, but I asked if she would design something else and she said she would. It's not an ownership mark, it's just a commemmoration of the time we've spent together and how much she means to me. I would never get a name tattooed (Angelina Jolie can afford to have it removed, but I can't!) but I feel 10 years is a great enough portion of my life to merit commemmoration in some form.

:cathappy: Watching my little kitten, Drake, flip out last night like he was high on speed...i laughed at him so much my sides hurt...crazy kitten :cathappy:

So was the tat a surprise?

No, the tat was discussed a couple of months ago and decided on. It's a design He made for us so it is special to me.

It is roughly the size of a US Silver half dollar coin and positioned on my left butt cheek. Like I said above, it was designed special to mean something to us. I think that's made it more important to us too, something to think about for your tat I'd think. :)

My favorite hobby is fishing. When i have my hook dangling in the water i can forget about everything that's getting me down. To me it's complete and utter relaxation. :)

I am going to go with what my wife designs. I am thinking she might do something like a bat silhouette (she likes bats) or maybe just a random doodle of her own. All of mine are monochrome so far (one is all black, two are all brown) so maybe she will actually come up with something with a little color!

Do you have any other tattoos? :)

I am enjoying having Him home VERY much!!! :D

Congratulations. That is everything a tat is supposed to be.

It's original, personal, and for years to come you will smile every time you see it.

Raising that ice cold drink to my lips....

Eb [Picking up a glass of iced tea]

It's all i can think about right now. In less then 24 hours ill be sitting at my camp, in western pennsylvania at the Pennsic wars, seeing people i haven't seen in a long time.

It's that feeling like you jsut got home from work and you took your bra off and put on a soft comfey top and was greeted by old friends who give you love.

I should be HOME in 20 hours.

campfire,
garb,
drums,
fire,
meade and other intresitng mixtures of drink,
bards,
no electronics for TWO weeks.
I'm so giddy...

Seeing my best friends new baby...and seeing her in a different light. It brings my  such joy to see her at peace in her new role as a mother.

What brings me joy today is the rain...it has been raining steady since last night, there are puddles across a lot of the roads, I look out my kitchen window while I am cooking and see the rain and the trees and the park right on my doorstep, and it just makes me so happy I have been humming and cleaning the kitchen from top to bottom, literally, even the tops of the cupboards which are an inch off the ceiling!!

Spending this weekend with him and his friends.

Its wonderful to see him relaxed and happy talking to different people and generally having fun.

In this sense i am a voyeur. I love to watch his face become animated when talking with people about favourite (non sexual) subjects.

Knowing Miss Shy is okay and reading about her happiness ;)

Getting home to my Fuzzy Guys (the cats) and watching Marcel sit on the puppy so that Sancho can give her a bath.

Lobster and champagne

Since I don't eat Lobster, it's fried or baked artichoke hearts and champagne for me! I don't do one without the other.

Well, I do one without the other (champagne seems a little more common than lobster at the tables I frequent), but together they bring me to an unbelievable high. :cathappy:

I don't think I have ever had a fried artichoke heart before. Hmm sounds interesting!

Hmm the look on slave's face when he opened the door and I stood before him. I wish I had a camera to preserve the moment. I could dine on it for months, lol.

Take a can of artichokes, drain and quarter.

Plunk em down in a bown of beaten egg

Then in a bowl of Itallian bread crumbs. (I also like to add some fenel seeds to that.)

Fry or bake in olive oil. (I like to put in a dash of lemon juice with the oil.)

Tastes like a lil bit of heaven to me. Goes great with champagne, spaghetti and/or in a sandwich. I put the "crumbles" in my spaghetti sauce too.
