My wife and I are sampling the expatriate life this winter/spring, living on an island.

There are no actual nude beaches on the island, at least as far as I can tell.

However, I'm an explorer ... on foot; especially barefoot. I love to run (and sometimes walk), so I've been checking out the various beaches. Except for the three beaches nearest town/resorts, there's never anyone out there. I love to take off my shorts and run naked and barefoot, with the Caribbean breeze in my hair.

I often will swim, too. I love swimming nude.

Once it warms up, I will be hiking in the nude. I live in a nat'l forest with few full time neighbors. Where I will hike is a Wilderness area, 7000 acres. I plan on hiking 2 or 2 1/2 miles up from my truck. Maybe a little swimming up there, and back down. This is on an old railroad grade, high grass no trees. Been there many times. I'll probably not see anyone else. I'f I do, well, just play it by ear.

Yikes. Assuming mountains and out west, I can’t get past the possibility of a bear problem while naked, Having had one such encounter (while clothed) in my life…
