What Do Slaves/Subs Do When They Get Bored?

I'm a fan of having a daily task to keep the sub-side settled when contact was at a minimum.

Other than that it was basically what kept me busy when they were around. Take care of the kids and the house, work, paint, read, embroider, play games online, doodle, cook atypical things... Just normal stuff only I'd typically do more of it.

Oh, I am hoping to not cook while he s gone...will be salad or Modifast, most likely the latter. My son will hopefully be happy to get himself some microwave meals.

Well no, and when he is in another country, my directions get all mixed up and I don't have a clue where his direction is for me to bow to!!

LOL, that is why I rarely remember to do them...have to have a rough edge on a nail before I remember. My son and I went for a short shopping outing and got rained on, so that helped pass some time. I am sure he is already tired of me buzzing him to come downstairs and check out some little issue on my laptop.

I'm in the opposite situation. Have work to do but am finding it hard to get into cause the damn heater broke and I'm freezing my ass off. I can't escape the notion that warming up and passing time could be so much fun, but no this vacant sub is on the other side of the planet.

Fantastic, a call at last from a very tired F who is cursing I didn't go with him....aaawww,he is missing me as much as I am him. Delta lost his luggage, though is supposedly on its way to him now, hopefully with laptop still inside it. He was also cheesed off they told him repeatedly he had to fill out a form which took half an hour, only to tell him once he had that he didn't need to. Only good thing he says is when he told them who he was and why he was in the US and they immediately told him he didn't have to wait around like everyone else and could go straight through.

I am exhausted....stayed up until 6 am last night, then spent today cleaning out stuff and cleaning. Hmmm, think it is time to go see why the slightest movement makes my back crunch. Feel, and sometimes hear it crunching in several places when I move at all, and then there are those interesting times when I bend over and can't get back up for ages. Frustrating as though I have always had back pain and problems, it has never hampered me as much as this is beginning to.

i'd certainly be one to appreciate any help/suggestions/answers etc that F can offer, and thanks in advance Catalina. Everything i've been lucky enough to learn so far about PCs (which may seem like a lot to me, but yet, is so much less compared to what others may know) has been the direct result of other users online stepping forward and offering to share their own knowledge, and help offered etc. Always open to suggestions, always appreciative ....

If it helps F (or anyone else who has solved my current computer issue themselves in the past) this is where i am at right now:

Sec Master=CDROM
Sec Slave=CDROM

Hard Drive 1: Int 13h Drive Number 80h, controlled by EZ BIOS, cylinders 9965, heads 255, sectors 63, capacity 81GB, multi-sector transfer 16 sector, 32-bit transfer enabled(i think ), floppy boot protection enabled, logical block address enabled, 'no' for 63-sector data offset.
Hard Drive 2: Int 13h Drive Number 81h, controlled by ROM BIOS, cylinders 1025, heads 255, sectors 63, capacity 8423MB

From here i THOUGHT i had installed an orginal XP factory/complete reformat ... but the Cds turned out to be 'XP's system recovery'... INSIDEYOURMIND can't find/or remember where His full XP Cds are. ... but was attempting to 'locate' them by other means earlier .... He had to step out... i may be all set with them & have them here when He returns.


OK, so ... now my PC, when started in safe mde, and trying to get the pc to start XP windows, i get an error:

Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt
\WINDOWS\system32\config\SYSTEM
Attempt to repair by starting Windows Setup using original Setup CD-ROM.
Select "r" at the first screen to start repair.

i'd only be GUESSING at how to fix this ... .
Does it NEED to be from an XP Setup CD-ROM ??
OR
Can i use the backup of the system folder of files i saved from my WIN 2000 Pro and burned to CD?? -- Does it MATTER which OS the SYSTEM files are from??
Would i even be able to get the PC to install/save or 'grab up' the files if i insert them in the CDROM player .... and direct the PC to boot from C:?? i dunno ... as isaid, i'm just guessing at the solution at this point.

Greatly appreciativvvvvvvve to anyone who knows the answer/solution etc ect.

my next stop is GOOGLE .. Sometimes the solution is as simple as searching the exact error ... and hoping i have replicated an issue that someone else out there has experienced and provided a solution for ..
