there is nothing to understand, some females have had mean guys, they can't handle a nice guy, it scares them, they are afraid to give in to it..to you .. another thing..don't try to be anything,,just be yourself,,maybe you are looking in the wrong places for females..get a puppy, go to a park or beach with it..girls are suckers for dogs...or babies..they like the father figure..babysit a neice or nephew..take them with you to the grocery store or mall.. just be yourself, and things will work out for you, maybe not today, but when you least expect it to..you can hurry love , you just have to wait, because love don't come easy , it's a game of give and take...

This is very good advice. Love will happen when you least expect it.And more then likely will be nothing like what you expect, it will be oh, so much more.

I'm sorry, can't buy into it.

I'm in pretty much the same situation as the creator of this thread, and I have to say that if we are ourselves, it's a long wait for a train that won't come.

Get in touch with what you like, do what you have always wanted to do, give up habits that you consider bad, give yourself permission to have fun. It will happen. I'd like a man that I have some things in common with, yet enough differences to make the relationship interesting. There needs to be SOME physical attraction, but I think what's on the inside of a man can make him even more attractive. A kind heart and spirit. Someone I can sit on a porch swing and hold hands with, as well as someone who will back me up against the wall and have his way with me. And like my Sista said....someone who will love me just the way I am and not try to change me.
