A post I just read made me wonder what others might have learned from this place. Simple idea. Just tell us something this site has taught you.

I've learned that I'm pretty lucky. Most people face hardship more often and more courageously than I have.

I've also learned that I'm in the minority, being inactive in the dominant/submissive discussion. Most seem pretty comfortable labeling themselves as one or the other.

I learned not to take candy from strangers.

And, take what anybody says with a grain of salt. :)

I learned, years ago, and through one very passionate argument that you and I are a lot alike. I would not admit it then but do so freely now. I suppose I've learned the few people you don't yet know are the ones you end up desiring to know the most.

I've learned it's possible to lose your heart to someone on the internet. That I'm not alone in what I've gone through in my past. I've seen great compassion and felt it- which renewed my hope in the world. :)

And it's okay to have a rather large toy collection. :D

Good deeds, good people, and good times are forgotten far quicker than the opposite.

Most good here is never even acknowledged :)

You're right, and

I've learned that 'our' personality is novel and endearing when delivered by an attractive female and completely abrasive and expected from a dude, haha.

I'll take that compliment, no matter the delivery.

I've learned more about what I want in a lover, which includes being able to talk openly about sex without feeling any boundaries

also, I learned about the existence of bike porn.

I've learned that very active sexual desire and imagination go hand in hand with kindness and sensitivity, in a whole lot of people, women and men.

To be comfortable with myself. I am who i am and that is not going to change.

I've learnt that I am not the only one with such passions and desire, that being respectful pays dividends...and that emotions can run high :)

Learning from Lit is an ongoing process for me.

I've learned that sexuality is an important part of who I am. I've also learned that friendships can be formed despite language and geographical barriers.

I have learned that hate is a close cousin of love

I've learned that I still have much to learn.

Bike porn? Please enlighten me! :rose:

I have learned that seperating a human body from the labels that a face adds to it, actually reveals its true beauty.

I've learned that its okay to accept my sexual self. Ive learned that there are amazing people on here that shouldn't be judged by their sexual preference. It's like Noah's Ark here. One of every pervision.

I learned to embrace my fantasies, and that there is always someone who feels the same way

I've learned a lot about myself and what turns me on...in addition it's been great to bring it to our bedroom! It couldn't have come at a better stage of my life.
