What have you posted recently?

I was struggling a lot with finally finishing this chapter. I find whenever I write novel-length stories I hit these walls where something big has to happen in the narrative, and I often give up thinking I can't pull it off. This story was sort of an experiment to help me get over that. Writing this chapter was the first wall I hit with this story. And I finally made it over!
I am a bit nervous as to what the reception will be like (its not only non-erotic, but there is a lot of violence) but so far it has been positive.
The Orc King Chapter 5

New story posted. First thing I've written in a couple months.

Double Stuck

Mother and daughter both manage to get themselves stuck in a washing machine. Son comes along to rescue them.

I'm embarrassed that after submitting stories for about 6 years now, I just discovered the Author's Hangout forums. There's so much to explore here, but I found this thread and wanted to share a few stories I submitted this past summer. I know people are busy writing their own stories, but if anyone gets a chance to read these and would care to offer feedback, it would be greatly appreciated.

Two Teachers Plus One Husband: https://www.literotica.com/s/two-teachers-plus-one-husband

These are a series, but I submitted them as separate stories

A Calico Girl's Revenge is now available. It is a Zane Grey-style western plot story about a desolate town called Calico Creek. An old wizened drygoods storekeeper recounts a yarn about how a young woman was ravished by an outlaw and her revenge. It's not long—just 3,900 words. I invite you to read it and leave me a score and message if you like how it resonates with you.

Edit–A comment: "I always enjoy reading your stories. I enjoy your characters and settings. It takes a good writer to set the scene so vividly and to develop interesting, engaging characters is such a short story.

"The device of the storyteller whittling and entertaining the boys is a very good one. I can feel the atmosphere as he speaks. It is so much better than just telling the story without that layer.

"Of course you always leave me looking forward to the next tale, and I recognize that’s due to your writing talent and effort spent. I’m sorry that your life-pen is running low, but I thank you for writing, and thank you for sharing your work so freely."

After a dry spell since August, I've finally posted the fifth and final chapter of Bad Brat Girl - the whole series is only about 28k words.

Domme Sarah does switch sometimes, but struggles to be submissive, hence being a total brat, in contrast to her friend Jake whom no-one expects is naturally submissive to his wife, in private. The wife and Sarah's Daddy take her in hand. This chapter has got a bit buried, and perhaps 'Aftercare' isn't a popular description, but that's basically what this chapter is. The few readers seem to like it.

https://classic.literotica.com/s/college-hooking-memories-ch-05

It's a chapter about Nora trying to be both a student and a hooker on campus in the 1970s. That was only for ten months. In her senior year, she is recruited to be a semi-professional, part-time dominatrix. At the end, when she graduates, she never wants to be in "the life" again.

This all happens at locations at the City College of New York that existed at the time, as per the photo below. Wagner and Finley Halls play parts in the story. Her graduation ceremony takes place int the large oval area in front of Finley. Today, everything has been replaced except for two of the old buildings.

Nora narrates her own stories in this series.

"His Vixen"
"A confident husband challenges his wife with their game."

It's 12.K words in Loving Wives which went public over 24 hours ago (12/7/2024). It's currently at 2.9 with 100 votes and 7,200 views.

The story is first person POV of a "plain-Jane" wife on her second marriage which has lasted 23 years. She's a highly sexed but truly monogamous loving wife, married to a tall, handsome guy who had been burned by several failed relationships before they married.

When the wife talks to him about a woman's book club discussion of infidelity, she wonders why any loving, married woman would want another man. The husband says "If you ever want to try another cock just for the experience, don't lie to me. Do it and make your choice of him or me. But if you want to go back to that same one over and over, then you've made your choice! Just go away and I'll find someone else who wants ME."

The story is how she grows in understanding that she already has the best at home.

In LW, surprisingly, I'm not getting the usual vile comments ... yet.

Thawing Hearts posted on Sunday. My winter holiday contest entry and also my first post in I/T.
After burning my hands at L/W in the first two stories, I have found other categories too kind and generous.

The Chainer series has the first two chapters published with the remaining three submitted and queued up for release. I've also queued up the three chapters of Game Night for release in late January-early February. Two more stories are at 16K words each and I'm hoping to release those in March and April.

My latest story is published! 😄

Life Drawing for Developing Artists

Part of the Adventures of Penny Thompson, the college futanari meets the live model in her art class, and gets closer to her dorm roommate!

I'm really proud of this one, and I finally figured out how to get some formatting tricks to work the way I want! Feedback always appreciated :giggle:

Writing fanfic of another Lit author’s work comes up here now and again. I have mentioned other Lit authors’ settings and characters in my work before but never done a full crossover until now. Thx to Freya Gersemi for allowing me to write this latest story. Her character Freya gets some reassurance from one of mine. Redheads who enjoy sex a lot need to support each other, right?

Enjoy, y’all.

Teach us, oh wise one! (It looks really good.)

Oh, and the story is super sexy and laugh out loud funny too...
For this I owe huge thanks to @AwkwardMD who gave me some formatting advice!

Okay so for the text message formatting, you have to do some slightly annoying and fiddly HTML. I know a little bit of web design from my outside life, which helps, but you don't need to know much to make it work.

I think you probably need to submit your story as Story Text and not as a file. I also added an author note apologizing for being an HTML goblin and asking them to just bounce it back to me if my code was broken or forbidden, I don't know if that was helpful or not 🤷‍♀️

Although none of the Lit formatting guides I've found mentions this, you can use
HTML:
</br>
tags to force line breaks without creating new paragraphs. Combine that with
HTML:
<u>
and
HTML:
<div align="right">
and you can do a reasonably good text message conversation!

So this is what the code looks like:

HTML:
<u>Sent at 9:20am</u></br>Hi Marci, you wanted</br>me to message you??</br>

<div align="right"><u>Sent at 9:24am</u></br>Penny hiii :D</br>How are you doing?</br>I wanted to check on</br>you after last night.</br>How are you doing?</br></div>

And this is how it renders as a Lit story:

I tried to get this effect in a previous story, and didn't do the tags correctly and it lost pretty much all of its formatting and I was very sad. But I did it right this time, and it worked!!

I'm also thinking about how different people text, depending on their personality and age. Penny is a Gen Z good girl, so she tries to type correctly and doesn't use too many emojis, but avoids periods and ellipses because they're too aggressive. Marci is a Gen X mommy, so she still uses old style emojis, and lots of periods.
