The neon glow of the sign that hung over the bar gave off an eerie glow to her in her drunken stupor. It was a sad sight that the town’s good girl was half out of her mind on liquor at Joe’s Sports Bar on Fifth Street. In a small Southern town, everyone knew everything about everyone but no one ever admitted it. Margie Duhon had managed to keep her little secret for six years without a soul ever finding out. She was in love with her big brother’s best friend.

They had met when Margie was sixteen years old and kind of a nerd. His smile was the first thing she saw when they met. His smile was full, bright and happy. He was nice to her on occasion and would pull on her ponytail, calling her ‘squirt’. He never did notice that she thought he hung the moon and the stars. She had thought that maybe he would notice her once she grew up but that never happened. Just recently at a party that her brother had given for her birthday she heard him call her ‘the little sister he never had’. A little piece of her heart broke apart that day.

It wasn’t like she was bad looking, just not overtly sexual. Her long brown hair was usually pulled back in either a tight braid or a ponytail. She had nice skin and high cheek bone. Her eyes were big and round, a soft brown color that reminded you of an amber stone. It was hard to tell she even had a body in those frumpy clothes she always wore but Margie worked out regularly and took care of herself. She didn't look that good now, slumped over in the chair she had been in since the night began.

Oscar Reddington, the bouncer for the bar, had to muscle some lech that tried to grope the poor girl. Everyone in the bar was astounded to see her there and in this condition. Most were gossiping about what had happened to make the poor thing resort to drinking. Oscar shook his head at Joe Mahoney, the owner. “Get the girl out of here. This ain’t no place for one like her.” Joe nodded in agreement as he scratched his balding head. He looked up her brother’s number and dialed. The phone went to the answering machine so Joe decided it be wise to check with the boy’s best friend. Maybe he knew where Margie’s brother might be or better yet, he could come get her himself.

He dialed that number and got who he was looking for on the first ring. “Hello? Yes, this is Joe Mahoney down at Sorts Bar. I was looking for Miss Margie’s brother. Might ya seen him? Well his sister has been here for the last two hours drinking. I’m afraid she needs help getting herself home. The lass is in bad shape. Gonna be regretting that in the morning.” There was a series of noncommittal noises and Joe hung up. “He’s on his way. Said that Margie’s brother is probably shacked up with Sophie. They are getting hitched in a month.”

In her drunken haze, Margie couldn't make heads or tails of the conversation that was taking place only a few feet in front of her. Time seemed to slow down and speed up at different times. She could hear the whispers of the other patrons in the bar but she didn't care. All she could feel is a hollow ache in her chest where her heart was. There was a loud clang which made her wince and moan. A tall body walked by and was getting rather close to her. Margie noticed that she smelled a very divine and familiar cologne.

Patrick O'Malley had grown up in this small southern town. When he left for college he didn't think that he would ever be back. Through high school he had worked on his parents' farm and played football and baseball. That meant that he didn't have much time to do anything else. When he had some free time he could be found with his best friend John Duhon. Patrick had become best friends with John when they were Juniors in high school. Usually they would hang out at John's house because Patrick was always afraid that his parents would find something for him to do if they stayed around the O'Malley farm.

Patrick had grown fond of John's younger sister Margie. She was a couple of years younger, and she was cute. Patrick was always jealous of John for having a sister. Patrick was an only child. After graduation, Patrick took a baseball scholarship from a school in a neighboring state. John stayed closer to home. The two of them stayed close, and every time Patrick came home they spent the entire time together. Patrick was a very good student and graduated from college with a degree in business management after 3 years. He decided to stay for his senior year of baseball and work toward his MBA. Then, Patrick got bad news. His parents were in a horrific car crash. They survived, but it was going to be impossible for his father to run the farm anymore. This was the worst thing possible for Patrick, he had to return home and run the farm for his parents. He had to return to the small town that he never wanted to go back to.

The best thing about returning home was that he would be around John more. Being around John brought him in more contact with Margie. Patrick realized that Margie was cuter than he had ever thought, and despite hiding herself behind frumpy clothes, she had grown into a beautiful young woman. He teased Margie whenever they were around one another. He treated her like a sister, because she was his best friend's sister. At her birthday party, some people started ribbing Patrick. They were telling him that he should ask Margie out. He said he couldn't do that because she was John's sister. They told him that John wouldn't mind if he took Margie out. That was then he said that he thought of Margie as the little sister he never had. He turned around and saw Margie there, and he knew she had heard him. He could see it in her face.

Patrick was laying on the sofa watching television when the phone rang. It was the owner of the sports bar looking for John. Patrick knew John was with his fiancée. They had been spending more and more time together as their wedding neared. When Patrick found out that Margie was in a bad way, he decided he would go pick her up. He drove to the bar and walked in. He saw her at the end of the bar. She certainly had looked much better than she did now. He walked over to her. "Well, well. What have we here? It looks like someone has had a little too much to drink. Come on. Let me get you home." He tried to help her walk, but that would take for ever, if it was at all possible. So, Patrick picked Margie up and carried her to his car. He put her in the passenger seat and reached across her and buckled her seatbelt. He took her to her house, went up to the door with her in his arms, but the door was locked and nobody answered the door.

Margie was only mildly aware of someone picking her up and carrying her to a vehicle. She just assumed, in her alcoholic stupor, that it was John that had come for her. Her dreams though were of Patrick, of him touching her. They were dancing together and he was holding her in the way she had daydreamed for years. Margie laid her head against his chest. In her sleep she began to mumble. "...Wanted this for so long." It was hard not to just give in to those hidden feelings. In her sleep, dream Patrick was giving her everything she ever wanted. He cupped her face and brushed her lips with his own, her body reacting helplessly. "I need you, Patrick."

The image of him began to blur as she came back to reality. The pain in her head made her to immediately retract back into unconsciousness. Margie opened her eyes , realizing that she had been dreaming of him again. It took a few minutes for her to realize exactly where she was. It was in the guest room of Patrick's home. Her stomach dropped when she thought of him. He always made her feel so vunerable and invisible. Margie tried to sit up and had to fight back the wave of dizziness. "That is the last time I drink."

She got up slowly, noticing the aspirin and glass of water on the nightstand. Patrick had always been the one to think ahead. Her only real worries were how she was going to keep her walls up with him and how to explain her drinken night out. Margie never drank to excess like that until now and he was likely to want an explanation. She made her way to the kitchen after swallowing two pills. The coffee smelled heavenly and she needed the jolt to get out of there soon as possible. Being around him was just too painful since she found out he only saw her the way her brother did. Margie poured coffee into a coffee cup, stirring in some sugar and a bit of milk.

The house was quiet as a mouse. Margie looked at the clock and saw that it was early morning. Patrick was probably starting in on the morning chores. He had always been an early bird. John was with her soon-to-be sister-in-law so she had thought she could have some time to herself. John had told her that he would be gone for a while. Margie jumped when she heard the back door slam closed. She tried to smile but it felt fake to her. "Good morning."

As Patrick carried Margie up the stairs of his house he heard her mumbling and he thought he heard her say his name. He couldn't understand what she was saying as she snuggled into him. After he laid her in bed and took off her shoes he covered her and got her a couple of aspirin, which he placed on the night stand. He went into his room, set his alarm for 4:30, and went to sleep. He was up with the alarm and out to check on the animals and make sure everything was ready for the workers.

After he had done all of the preliminary work was done, Patrick went to feed his horse. He took care of his horse personally. The workers took care of the others. When he was finished with that he headed back to the house. He wanted to check on Margie and he wanted some more coffee. He had set the timer on the coffee pot and he knew it would be ready now. When he walked in the back door, he saw Margie sitting with a cup of coffee. He poured himself a cup, he took it black, and walked over to the table and sat down across from Margie. He looked at her. "You look a little better than you did last night."

As he looked at Margie there seemed to be something different about her. Despite the fact that she was hungover, Patrick saw something different about her. She had always been pretty, but now that she wasn't wearing baggy clothes, she was..... different. "Listen, I am going to get a shower, and then I will take you home. You are welcome to shower before we go, also. I am sure I could find some clothes that would fit you. Of course, they would be pretty big on you." Patrick got up from the table and looked down at Margie. He reached down and lifted her chin. "This will be our secret. I am not going to tell anybody about how I found you last night." He winked at her and headed up to get in the shower.

Margie couldn't look him in the eye. "Feel like something you ran over with that old tractor." She tried her best not to show how nervous he made her. "The aspirin is already kicking in. Thanks for leaving me those pills." She took a sip of the sweet coffee, thanking God that she had something to fill the awkward silence. Margie felt her toes tingle when he winked at her. It had to be a sin to be that good looking. She watched him walk off and decided a nice hot shower would help her headache and headed back towards the guest room. Her stride stopped cold near Patrick's door, which was partially open. As she looked in, he came out in just a towel, his naked body just barely covered.

Margie felt a warmth blooming in her stomach and her clit started to ache. She couldn't help how she wanted him. Her heart stopped in her chest as she stare at the hard muscles and his farmer's tan. Her fingers itched to touch him so badly that her nails had sunken into her hand as she tried to restrain herself. Margie have made some kind of noise because he suddenly stopped what he was doing. She gasped and took off for her own room and the shower.

Stepping under the hot spray helped the ache in her head but not the one in her clit. The images from her dreams over the past few years came back to haunt her. Him touching her, kissing her, inside her. Margie whimpered and went to business of washing the smoke smell of the bar from her hair. Once she was done, Margie went back into her room wrapped in a towel. The ache in her body was still plaguing her so she closed her down and unwrapped her towel as she lay down on the bed. The first touch of her fingers to her hot pussy nearly made her cry out.

Margie thought about that killer body, touching him as whispered in her ear and gasped. Her fingers began to play with her clit while she pinched on dusky pink hard nipple. Her body arched. "Patrick." His name came out on a low moan as her wet fingers started to fuck her tight cunt. So into the fantasy,Margie didn't care if someone heard or saw her. All she knew was that her body was begging release.

The hot shower felt really good. He lingered under the stream of water beating down over his head and suddenly thoughts of Margie entered his head. At first it was just him wondering what people would think if they saw the two of them leaving the house together when he went to take her home. Then, his thoughts turned to what those people thought had actually happened between the two of them if they were leaving that early in the morning. He started to imagine Margie's body. He had never seen it, but at the moment he was imagining a wonderful body, and the thought started to arouse him.

He tried to get his mind off of Margie and her body, but it wasn't that easy. He changed his thoughts to his best friend, John, and what he would think if Patrick and Margie ever got together. Patrick turned the water toward cold to help change his thoughts. Once he had settled down a little he turned off the shower and stepped out. After toweling off, he wrapped the towel around his waist and headed out into his bedroom. While standing in front of his dresser he thought he heard something, or someone, in the hallway, so he went to look. When he checked the hallway, there was nobody there. So, Patrick closed the door and went back into his room to dress.

Patrick put on a form fitting t-shirt and a pair of jeans. He sat on the bed and put on a pair of sneakers without any socks. Then, he headed out the door of his room. As he entered the hallway, he heard noises coming from the guest room. He assumed that Margie was back there. He listened and heard the voices again. It sounded like Margie was crying. He went to the door to the room and opened it, "Margie, are you okay?"
