I am curious more than actually in need of advice.

Recently I have come across a few threads where people seemed quite taken with foot fetish and high heels, pumps and boots in particular. It is pretty much an alien territory for me, but has peeked my interest at least enough to want to understand it better.

What is it about a woman's feet or shoes that is such a turn on?

Is there a certain type of footwear that holds a particularly sexy appeal for you?

Also, is this a one way phenomenon or are there women out there enticed by male feet?

Well, to put it simply : I love shoes. Many types of shoes...boots, high heels, casual, dressy...even ugg-boots! Now that doesn't mean I like every shoe created...just the shoes that I can see myself wearing (I'm female) and shoes that say something about how I'm feeling or 'who I want to be'.
I met a guy once who was the same with hats. He had about 60 different hats, all for differernt moods. Most of my shoes aren't "sexy" porn-style, but they ALL make be feel very sexy (sexy may be the wrong word, perhaps confident is better?).

I wouldn't say I have a fettish (shoes are the first thing to come off in the bedroom!) but I do find shoes fun, especially when dressing up. I guess it's a girl thing...a part of preening.

I never paid much attention to this and don't have a foot fetish (though I consider pretty much every single part of the female body erotic, that includes feet), but a nice effect of high heels is that they make legs look longer....not that I've ever cared much for that, either, but to some that make have a certain appeal. they also change the way you walk, maybe accentuating the way hips sway.

It's not just a fetish. High heels are sexy. The push up the womans butt, display her legs and make her legs look longer. I've heard of seven inch heels, but never seen any. As far as I know, the highest I've seen were five inches.

Ok, so I too have a high heel and female foot fetish. I think that there are varying degrees of it just as any fetish, for example there are porno sites where people have sex with feet or like being stepped on (trampling) by heeled feet. I can't really help you except to say...

That I do like pumps, sling-backs, wedges, espadrilles, sandals, mules with either high heels, kitten heels, low heels, stripper heels, either on a beautiful foot accentuating a sleek calve or on the floor, or on a shoe rack or in a store, or to wear.
