Well that sliding thing can be quite annoying. Having to push them back up all the time. That whole raise the arm thing so that gravity pulls the shoulderstraps back where they should be. Quite troublesome.

I highly recommend shirtless. Much more comfortable.

I went on a five day camping trip over Memorial Day weekend as a kid. Got sick on the fourth day. Bad memories. I never did get rid of the smell out of my sleeping bag.

Tried one time as an adult. Got cold and switched to a motel room. That was a good decision.

I grew up going almost every weekend (my dad had a hobbie cat sailboat...so we were out there as much as possible during the summer)

My memories are all pretty good when it comes to camping...and hubby and I and the daughter enjoy going now and then. Of course, we cheat. We take the grandparents camper and hook it up to an electrical outlet near the yacht club where my dad keeps his newest boat. So we have ac, stove, tv....heh but for the most part, we usually just sit outside and watch the boats on the water and enjoy the sound of the waves and the wind through the trees.
