What name do you call your PYL?

the vast majority of the time i call him Daddy or Dad...He is just very much a Father to me. i think a few times i have jokingly called him Papichulo...that's about it. if i ever called him by his first name, he would probably string me up from a tree and whip me bloody. and while he calls me lots of cutesy lil nicknames like "sweetie", "picklehead", "kiddo", etc., for me to refer to him in those ways would be disrespectful.

Have you ever thought about calling him, sweetie or pickle head then posting his response in the 'Things to Never Say...' thread??

It means my king.

I know that for him a lot of words like Master and Lord have a religious connotation so adopting those in French were more personal and easier for him.

All this made me think of how words in English I can find erotic to be called in certain circumstances like whore and slut but in French I would have a much harder time with not seeing them as very big insults.
I definitely agree with you on this. Everything just sounds more affectionate in French, some how.

I pretty much always use Daddy for my PYL. Sometimes when we're with a group of friends I call em by eir online name. When we're doing business stuff (I have been helping em out with getting eir company started) I use eir RL first name because I'm supposed to be "not a sub" in terms of business. (Being involved with the business is part of my submission, but I am supposed to be a full contributor and not always in deference to him, if that makes any sense.)

I call him Dannell...I gave his name a cutesy/little kid spin cause I generally talk like a kid and for some reason it resulted in "Dannell" I rather like it. He also gets called baby, love, sweetie, hon, dear...Dear is usually when I'm proving him wrong, "See? It WAS dark blue, dear. (I win)"

Also, the idea of marquis being anything but scary is almost like finding out there is no santa claus...except more amusing and less devistating.

We dont' really have much of anything out of the "Mistress" realm with ghosst - although one of our potentials has taken to calling me "My Lady" - which is good, and 'normal' enough to not raise any eyebrows should he ever meet my parents. As for between Holly and me - I have always called her Honny ... even before we were a couple.

I havn't posted in your thread until now, Shy Slave, because I wasn't sure if I could take that much humiliation. But I think I'm adequately prepared now. When I did something that made him laugh a lot (which was quite frequently and quite unintentionally on my part :/) he'd call me "the cutetums minutums of the world." Also, because I had bathroom hangups he used to call me (cringe) "Mistress Pee-pee-poo-poo-lee." There were lots more names but I think that's more than enough. I am going to go crawl under my rock now.

Tainted I just had to bump this to make sure no-one missed it.

And don't think for a moment its revenge for all those times you teased and went looking for a fight in other threads around here.

Nope, not me, I wouldn't do that.

I am shy, well behaved and good ~ thats me

I am not mean, teasing and enjoying watching you squirm just at tiny bit.

Bathroom hangups huh. That explains why the only type of pic missing from from your collection is of Belgium biscuits!!!

Hmmm actually this bump is on behalf of everyone who went into the thread about saline. Those people who thought the pics were both YUCK & EEK but could not help going back and looking at the next set of pics!!

:D :p

I had one ex I called "fuckbubble" because that's what she was. Just a little fuckbubble. Also "birdie" when she was good, because she had short hair and a cowlick that made her look like tweety bird.

I like "woman" a lot.

Fuckbubble ~ I like it

:D

I call him by his first name.

We use "babe, and "baby" alot. As in "hey, baby".

Sometimes, I'll call him "Sir".

Obviously, we aren't much for protocol :p

I have been reading this thread for a while and never had the beans to post on it. Well since my SO won't read this for a bit...I'm feeling a bit ballsy and will post some of our names....
*clears throat, sips from wine glass*

Mine for him: Fuzzy Bear, Cuddle Bear, Dewy Downy (don't ask), Love, Sweetness, Loving Master, MJ....hmmm...that's all I can provide and (hopefully) not get my ass chucked into the doghouse :D

His for me: Divine Grace, My Loving Gracie, Angel, Love...and the one that hooked me?...Darling...(I like how it's old fashioned and the way he says it so lovingly...makes me all a twitter)

Okay....now....I'm in trouble...

Gracie~

Our newest potential has now called me "Kitten" more than once ... I'm still deciding how I feel about it.

Neomagalie and Catalina or anybody else can you tell whats the french/spanish/other languages for 'owner?'

Thanks

German: Eigentümer/Besitzer
Probably a bit hard to pronounce, and to me they both sound extremely dumb...
Italian: proprietario
Similar to the French and not so very usable either, if you ask me.

Your welcome!

He doesn't like for me to call him endearments. Which was really hard in the beginning because I'm Southern and I call everyone honey, sweetie, babe or darlin'.

Other then calling him my Sir which is the main one, I will call him my Love or my sexy Dom. :)

Since they come easier to me in French its usually : Mon maitre, mon amour, monsieur, mon roi

But also sometimes pastor guy

I really like Amo too for me it would be close to amour though and I ont think I would feel the master connotation.

I use the French ones as well :D

"fuckbubble" wins...i can just imagine the type of girl who would be called "fuckbubble"

there's something about being called "woman" that makes me all happy inside.

Daddy has suddenly taken to calling me fujo - it's apparently a naughty Japanese girl who has been seduced by male geeks giving her manga comics!
